yunfangjuan··on My ETH Wallet is wrongly sanctioned
I did do a swap using 1inch afterwards and it works OK.Ultimately I want to be removed from the sanction list because I did nothing wrong.
yunfangjuan··on My ETH Wallet is wrongly sanctioned
It's the UI being blocked so far. My understanding is that they use APIs from companies like https://www.trmlabs.com/ to decide if a wallet is dirty but the algorithm right now is deeply flawed.
yunfangjuan··on Make School:The curious case of a chameleon zombie coding school
WOW! What a disaster. It's devastating to see how these virtue signaling education institutions hurt our young people. From ISA startups to elite master degrees, so many educational non-profits don't seem to care about their mission and only have their eyes on profits. Who can we trust these days if institutions whose stated purpose are to educate and to empower are just trying to make a buck? Don't tell me that startups are hard. IMO, a line has been crossed in this case.

yunfangjuan··on Google Backed OnDeck Capital Offers Cash Advances that Grow Exponentially
They are in the sense that when you carry a loan balance and refinance it, the balance will be multiplied twice from the original advance. If you refinance it again, it will be multiplied three times. I call this exponential.
yunfangjuan··on Square Begins Offering Data Driven Cash Advances to Small Businesses
The problem is most banks don't have the technology to scan a customer's bank account and decides his/her credit worthiness. That's how antiquated banks are and they wouldn't touch anything subprime after 2008 financial crisis.

This is a review we wrote for Square Capital https://www.fundastic.com/posts/25-what-does-square-capital-...

It's a much better than merchant cash advances, OnDeck or Kabbage in terms of cost.

yunfangjuan··on Embrace Bad Ideas and No Business Model
I wrote this as an investor but I think the concept applies to startup founders too. In my friend Yariv Sadan's words " The corollary for entrepreneurs: work on ideas that seem bad and that have no business model. If your idea is obviously good it's probably too late to build it because that obviousness is predicated on the success of other companies, which have already captured the market."
