yeison··on Apple's Software Quality Crisis
iTunes was such a piece of garbage. It would literally get stuck in a login loop whenever you tried to open it and it was pretty unintuitive design. Apple Music is not perfect but 100x better than iTunes. However, I never bought Macs for Music. It has always just been the most ideal development machine.

Everything that Epic touches turns to dust.
yeison··on Japan Seeks Tech Revival with Artificial Intelligence

yeison··on Individuals with social phobia have too much serotonin
There are truly a lot of reasons why exercise contributes to good mental health. One of them is that it helps produce the correct balance of hormones in your system, which in turn also impact the correct balance of neurotransmitters. It's very easy, especially for us coders, to forget that we're sitting all day. Sitting all day is far from natural and has a tremendous amount of health impact. Exercise is extremely beneficial.
yeison··on Next Week's Bloodbath At IBM Won't Fix The Real Problem
Watson is probably one of the most valuable projects that IBM is currently working on. Cutting people from the Watson team would be an extremely bad decision. I have no doubt that you guys are in good shape in that department. Also, all the publicity that IBM has been working on with Watson has been very wise and well executed.
yeison··on How the world’s health organizations failed to stop the Ebola disaster
According to this article, it seems like a lot of health care workers are catching the disease. Even the westerners who are familiar with the transmission mechanism of the disease. Therefore, isn't possible that we are underestimating how easily the disease can spread?
yeison··on Adafruit Blocks University of Waterloo
Customer support should have been able to figure out that the customer really wanted the original product for one reason or another. They were even willing to part with their refund. In any case, completely blacklisting the whole University of Waterloo is not the appropriate response. I can't even fathom what action would merit that kind of a response.
