Me and my friends started comming recently on some harder monsters in Monster Hunter but it's completely unnecessary as you said. Stuff like, "mount finisher" "setting trap", all stuff that you could visually observe. The main benefit has been I'm much more cognizant of my teammates than I ever was in the past. It is popular in PC FPS gaming to have a smaller keyboard so you can go more distance to the left with your mouse hand before running out of space. Have you never hit your keyboard with your mouse? More likely to happen when playing with lower DPI/sensitivity. I don't use numpad for anything while gaming so it's extra space I'm happy to get rid of. All these people saying they don't get why someone would want a smaller keyboard are probably confused because they don't play FPS or games that require mouse space beyond their 6 inch mousepad.

Some gamers even position their keyboards at very harsh angles or nigh perpendicular to their body all just to make more space.

The tool might be more sophisticated than you need but following only a few people is totally fine and should not be overrun with algo content just to promote ad revenue to the platform owner. Maybe the people you want to follow are only on said platform so you are required to consume it that way.

The amount of fruit and consistency is more important to the outcome of a marmalade or jam then the use of citrus fruits. A lot of recipe sites are flat out wrong about this and state a marmalade has to contain citrus, or worse, Spanish Citrus. If I make orange Jam is it automatically Marmalade? If Korea puts corn on Pizza, is it not Pizza anymore? So as I stated, yes it is about how countries and people deem food authentic.

People who think any food has to be made one way because that's the way it was made "originally" are missing out on potential. Most food origin stories are also stretched truths, lies, or even historically selective for political reasons.
