We're looking for a programmer with 5+ years of experience in developing and shipping commercial software. Above average knowledge and proficiency in Java. Experience with Spring, iBatis, SQL, JSP, AJAX, Javascript, Memcache, LDAP/AD, SAML, HTML DOM manipulation is a plus. Experience with memory-leaks, performance tuning, optimizing memory or speed is a plus.

Much addo about nothing?

My company Kontiki (http://www.kontiki.com) has been providing peer-to-peer solutions for a while now. We do require a client installation but that's not an issue in an enterprise environment (our target market) where central software distribution is the norm. Most importantly, an installed client allows us to overcome the HTML5 Web Storage limit of 5-10MB. You can't really store much video content with that limit in place.

This is the exact opposite of Respect. If you only respect people who are like you, you respect no one. We are all different and have different circumstances. You can't accurately measure team member's output at any given moment, as it fluctuates and depends on so many factors. Respecting someone means (in the agile context) trusting their good intentions and willingness to do everything they can for the success of the team/business. And guess what, it's not hard at all. Oh, and it's contagious too.
