Highest point: Aoraki Mt Cook 3,724 m 12,218 ft
That's a pretty big tsunami...

Edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eltanin_impact
"The size of a possible tsunami has been calculated. An asteroid that was 4 km (2.5 mi) in diameter falling onto the 5 km (3.1 mi) deep ocean would have blasted the water off the ocean floor for at least 60 km (37 mi), and made a wave over 200 m (660 ft) high on the southern end of Chile and the Antarctic Peninsula. After ten hours, waves around 35 m (115 ft) would reach Tasmania, Fiji and Central America, and the New Zealand east coast would have been washed with 60 m (200 ft) high waves. If the impact object was 1 km (0.6 mi) in diameter, the wave heights would be five times less.[3]"
i.e. the Chrome team, post-Spectre, are assuming that any value in a process' memory is readable by any code executing within that process.
"malicious-service-a.com" spoofing "service-a.com" is different than "eu.auth0.com" spoofing "au.auth0.com".
In the second case both domains are valid auth0 domains. This makes it harder for a user to detect the phishing. This seems like a legitimate concern.

Edit: All of the built-in framework widgets are written in Dart and rendered via canvas-like draw calls at the lowest layer (See dart:ui). Since the widgets are available under a liberal open source license you can fork them and customise them however you like.
If crime is correlated with child poverty, and cheap rentals are old houses which haven't been renovated in a long time, and tend to have more lead paint. Then on average criminals will have higher blood lead levels. This doesn't provide any evidence that lead had any causal affect in crime.

Keeping old nuclear plants online for a few extra years is not a solution to climate change. If some other western democracy can show how to build and operate nuclear plants cheaply and safely, great, do it.
So far the examples of recent new builds are slow and expensive. See VC Summer, Vogtle, Flamanville, Olkiluoto, and Hinkley point. From where I sit it looks like the German decision in 2001 to phase out nuclear was the right one, but only time will tell. (Merkel really did make a big mess in 2011 though)
Edit: Finish names are hard to spell.

In order to reduce emissions new zero carbon electricity generation will need to be continually built. Germany is doing this.
Germany gave nuclear a chance, even spent billions on a thorium reactor. They learnt that nuclear is expensive and not compatible with their democracy. The currently running plants were built in 80s and will be shut down after running for decades. Much of the cost, i.e. the waste storage will be socialised. The first long term storage site has already failed. There is no public support for building new reactors, nuclear cannot be part Germany's ongoing decarbonisation.
There is discussion happening at high levels in government, for example the State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Rainer Baake, used to be the head of Agora Energiewende who put out this coal phase out strategy.

Note that Germany earns more $ per MWh exported to France than vice versa. This is because on average France tends to have surpluses at night and in summer when electricity isn't in high demand. France imports electricity at high prices during cold snaps in winter when German wind tends to be blowing.
See chart:
https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/coal-consumption-per-capi...
Germany should also do better however.
Note that renewable electricity supply has actually grown faster than nuclear has declined.

"LABOUR WILL PARTNER WITH THE PRIVATE SECTOR TO BUILD 100,000 AFFORDABLE HOMES
KiwiBuild will deliver 100,000 affordable houses over ten years for first home buyers. Half of these will be built in Auckland. That is a ten-fold increase in the number of affordable houses being built in Auckland each year, from 500 to 5,000."
US 6,668.79 MtCO2e
India 2,432.18 MtCO2e
2010 figures, so India will be a bit closer the US by now.

"Google has clearly committed to this vision of AI on the phone. At I/O, the company also unveiled a custom-built chip for both training and running neural networks in its data centers. I asked Google CEO Sundar Pichai if the company might build its own mobile chip along the same lines. He said the company had no plans to do so, but he didn’t rule it out either. “If we don’t find the state-of-the-art available on the outside,” he said, “we try to push it there.”"
"Companies such as Intel are already working on this kind of mobile AI processor."

Edit - also:
"There’s already one mobile processor with a machine learning-specific DSP on the market today. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 system-on-a-chip sports the Hexagon DSP that supports TensorFlow. DSPs are also used for providing functionality like recognizing the “OK, Google” wake phrase for the Google Assistant, according to Moorhead."

If you're in into biking, or windsurfing Wellington is definitely a stunning place to live.
[edit] Also since everybody is talking about emus, this trail is actually called barking emu. But it is misnamed - since it's actually an Ostrich in the paddock up there.

I'm not very bullish on the technology however, maintaining anything in the ocean is a difficult challenge. My guess is a mixture of batteries and power to gas would probably wind up being easier to scale up, and cheaper in the long run.

Edit: Sounds like they plan to support the Arduino Due, but this is not implemented yet. They do not intend to support 8bit or 16bit MCUs.
The developers on this project are using Atom https://github.com/atom/atom/ for their day to day Dart development. They are contributing to the Dart plugin https://github.com/dart-atom/dartlang, and implementing a Flutter specific plugin https://github.com/flutter/atom-flutter-dev. The Dart SDK https://github.com/dart-lang/sdk provides the basic source code analysis tools. All of these projects are open source, on github, and see regular commits.

The codebase is a forked version of chromium, but with a lot of legacy web cruft removed. The DOM api is replaced with a new more modern api. CSS has some important performance bottlenecks removed.
It also allows linking to off main thread code written in C++, Java, Go, JS, Python and Dart. Main thread code must be written in Dart.
They are aiming for the performance of native, but with a development toolset similar to the web.
IMHO a very worthwhile experiment.
Edit: The specs here give an idea of what the system is/does.
