Interview responses are monitored for tone and vocabulary everywhere. Insufficient enthusiasm is often a valid reason not to hire someone. It is appropriate to ask questions about diversity and feminism during an interview—those are core values of the company, the first bullet point on their Careers page, even. https://github.com/about/careers
I'm asking you to knock it off and discuss in good faith next time.
More seriously: the "environmental" claim rang hollow to me, so I set out in search of some facts, and I think what I found supports that intuition, but the burden of proof is not really mine. (I will retract my "it's animal ethics yo" statement—clearly a reach.)

I see that the author of the edited comment got defensive about it and went on an irrelevant rant about singular they. Wish people like that would grow up a bit.
You're right they could have... beefed up the soda can, so to speak, but I don't blame the (presumably) DevRel folks who put this together for hand-waving it, "now imagine a mountain here".
If you're spectating, maybe. Completely falls apart when you try to engage in dialogue on Twitter, which is what both Twitter, Inc. and I want.
Say I follow someone because I like what they say. And I want to discuss what they're saying, or to explore existing discussions. I'm going into this ready to have a thoughtful debate or two.
So I open the replies, and they're what I consider to be garbage: flamewars, reaction GIFs, propaganda, straight-up bad-faith trolling, and worse. But maybe there's some good in here somewhere?
Assume I'm a typical human with emotions and stuff. Do I:
A) Immediately close the thread! It's not worth it, and I have the ability and willpower to bow out.
B) Scroll through the replies, muting and blocking people. Maybe if I do this enough I'll have a nicer experience on the next thread I open. Wow there sure are a lot of these folks!
C) Take the bait. Someone is wrong on the internet.
You know already, but I'll tell you anyway. I, typical human, tend to rush headlong into option C), which wastes my time, makes me unhappy, and gives me a negative perception of the quality of discussions on Twitter. Twitter, Inc. doesn't want that either, but they've picked these replies to show me. Clearly they don't know what kind of thing I think is garbage. So what can they do?
It's not easy.
In terms of fundamentals, I'd suggest reading about tf-idf, which is the basis of Lucene (which powers Solr and Elasticsearch).
You could try to reinforce "environmentalism != feminine", and that's certainly easier. But there is still a great deal of wrongness in "feminine == unacceptable" and you choose to ignore it, even perpetuate it, by changing your tune to appease fragile men.
Also, has call quality completely tanked in the last decade or is it just me?
As a happy Vault user I'm curious about your thoughts here.
I think I still prefer a monospaced font in the SVG (but that's easy to do with CSS).
IAM operational issue
Increased Error Rates and Latencies
We are investigating increased error rates and latencies on IAM administrative APIs in US-EAST-1 Region. The IAM console and Create, Delete, List, Get, and Update API actions on IAM Users, Groups, Roles and Policies may be impacted. Other AWS services whose features require these actions will also be impacted. All existing authentications and authorizations are not impacted.
It's far from "full-featured, professional-quality", but it completely sold me on the viability of VR as a medium for audio production.
In Kubernetes land, you can use the ImagePolicyWebhook admission controller. https://kubernetes.io/docs/admin/admission-controllers/#imag...
I agree that Dockerfiles are awful.
