I last worked at MongoDB where I did systems/C++ work, added features and fixed bugs in the MongoDB database. I graduated a year ago and did six internships (Foursquare, MongoDB, Twilio,...). The internships consisted of mostly full-stack development and a touch of data infrastructure work.

Motivation: I pretty much use Youtube as my music player. Great selection and I like watching the videos every now and then. The problem is that it doesn't really have the UI of a music player e.g. easy access to all of my 200+ playlists.

Name's Waley. Fourth year CS student at the University of Waterloo who is looking for a Fall 2014 software engineering internship.
I'll be interning at MongoDB in the summer. Last summer, I interned at Twilio where I wrote new features for and rebuilt Twilio's phone number search query tool. Also worked on the bulk porting feature.

Mr. Jobs was notorious for throwing his weight around however he could. One person on the iPhone design team was also named Steve, which caused some confusion in meetings. Mr. Jobs sought to change this.
“At some point Steve Jobs got really frustrated with this and said ‘Guess what, you’re Margaret from now on,’” Mr. Tolmasky said. From there on, members of the team would always address the designer Steve as Margaret.
I think I`d learn iOS first though since the general consensus seems to be Native > Web.
50 Cent is my #1 role model since he has achieved success despite adversity (Both of his parents were dead by the time he was 8 & he grew up in a rough neighborhood).
