They are backing up their curated photos (which seems to pretty much be the whole business as they say in the article).
It appears they are using Akamai services to server their images so hopefully their is some extra redundancy there already.
Other than that it seems like it would be a steal to use s3 as a backup system at this point because from this article it looks like they need to hire another employee to tell them why this backup solution seems a bit silly (I mean having trouble setting up the hardware).
I'm not saying it isn't smart I am just wondering if you have any examples of the others actually occurring.
Since I didn't spot the link right away.
It makes sense to me why he is only allowing a few downloads otherwise a few extreme users could take up all his money just by streaming.

Drinking is immensely popular in many colleges and drinking games are one of the most common forms of college drinking (see beer pong and others).
The real problem is that their really isn't a shop that wants to carry a game like this I would think if there were a novelty shop it might be the best bet (maybe spencer's gifts style) it is just there are so few of these kind of shops that the market reach for this kind of game is limited.

WRONG STATEMENT: I believe that the person running pinboard mentioned that it started at something like $3 or maybe more, so it isn't 9550 but probably a bit less, even less if you count inactive users.

Not to say it is uncommon to call Stephen Wolfram egotistic, I swear there was a thread about Wolfram remembering Turing and people counting how many times Wolfram mentioned himself but it may have been killed as I can't find it.

Which just goes to show he can do marketing on more than just android. I guess I'll support it because I really like these income reports but I can't comment on whether the ebook is any good.
I'm kind of thinking along the lines of google's BigTable and Mapreduce but that isn't exactly the same.
NearlyFreeSpeech only offers .net .org and .com I believe and you have to pay for extras that some other places give for free (such as dns) if you use those but they have a very nice TOS and general behavior.
You are probably better off looking at these two searches or looking through the /ask page.
With that said, Factor is really cool.
The discussion doesn't have as much about it but basically a YC company posted to jobs about looking to brogrammers and getting crunk/partying and those were the type of people they were looking for.
I personally think the default (top-posting) is much better, it isn't that hard to follow conversations in reverse order but the opposite makes it really hard to find the answers to solutions and find the responses to what you are quoting. So from me: Please don't bottom post.
As for specifics there is a lot of good stuff in here: http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/debian-reference/
If you come from windows avoid using X and GUIs as that really shouldn't be needed in a server environment.
I just can't see what makes it so wrong, I mean I am not ecstatic about my router mac and general area being tied together but is it easy for someone to find where I am based on what wifi I am connected to through a browser?
The only time I see it being a problem is if you have malware and they are able to target you by location but depending on what malware you are infected with it might be just as easy for the malware users to look somewhere else for location.
Maybe I am just being dense.
I clicked checkout after looking around and fake adding things to cart and nothing happened.
I'm also unlikely to use facebook to login to a site to buy things.
The only one off the top of my head would be ruby but I don't have that much ruby knowledge to judge.
This kind of thing however is perl's bread and butter.
