Some kind of implied false dichotomy here. Is upbringing unrelated to the system?
If we're able to weight correlations of different life parameters with life satisfaction, where is the "how cost-effectively to maximize your satisfaction according to statistics" guide?
All my coworkers commute 40+ minutes to have a larger house for their family and a slower pace of life than in the city.
This seems like pretty biased against commuting. Is it because everyone here is salty about having to commute to SF or Silicon Valley because rent is prohibitively expensive?
Everyone says this and it's little more than bro science. So if you have a bad experience from the drugs, it was because you weren't in a positive headspace? Sounds like No True Scotsman.
Can't you do this to a retailer?
> More enterprising folks sign up as Amazon supplier, register for some expensive products, ship real thing once or twice and then start throwing more and more fakes into their shipments, all nicely co-mingled by Amazon
Seems like a fast track to getting your account suspended. Why compromise a profitable business to basically skim off the top?
> Hard work is deliberate practice. It’s not fun while you’re doing it, but you don’t have to do too much of it in any one day (the elite players spent, on average, 3.5 hours per day engaged in deliberate practice, broken into two sessions)
Let's not pretend like 3.5 hours a day of practice is not a lot. I completely agree that this is what it takes to be good, but try doing anything for 3.5 hours a day and then say that you "didn't have to do too much of it".
I honestly much prefer shopping on the Nike app over Amazon, but I'm going to go to Amazon to buy whatever I found on that app.
Why stop at bullets, why don't you say aircraft carriers or something
I thought this was the worst part.
