It will just be computing new geometric states and syncing them to the screen.
Incidentally not having devs save endless copies of their dev tools and languages will save a bunch of electricity; storing and copying that stuff around uses a lot of electricity.
Software engineers who want to be taken as experts in their craft need to understand the chip makers are experts in theirs all the same. They’re not leaving your concerns about correctness, efficiency, and stability unconsidered.
Almost offensive for non-experts in hardware dev to continue to insinuate no one but SaaS devs have any idea how computers work.

The set of possible and desirable non-copyrighted text/audio/visual states to render is effectively infinite. Laws don't prevent Scrabble clones; tropes are not protected.
Endless remixes of public domain content are an option as well.
If an iPhone with model weights in chip, a local Mac mini with similar but more powerful model on chip ends up capable of generating endless content copyrights won't provide a moat.
The whole "copyright infringement is theft" meme seems to have stuck.
20 years ago it was all "information wants to be free" and "infringement is not theft; being deprived of speculative profit is not a loss."

Sure, we don't know that answer. Probably cannot without an impossible machine that can observe all states of all particles and matter throughout all of time space.
Occam's Razor allows for a simple, good enough definition to satisfy day to day concerns on Earth; consciousness is a feedback loop of sensory information and mechanical body response.
