I'm not the one nit picking

Last.fm is an old php app

It's a joke

Go touch grass

winrid··on RSS Feeds for Last.fm
It's mostly a legacy untyped backend thing.

> But I also wept. How is it possible that two almost identical endpoints have the key names differ on several spots or complete absent.

average legacy PHP backend :)

winrid··on Breaking Up with Google Play: Why Conversations Is Now Free
They protect them because they are them. The line between corporations and government is pretty thin these days IMO.
winrid··on Breaking Up with Google Play: Why Conversations Is Now Free
Punish them. I'm leaving trustpilot because I realized I was talking to an LLM during renewal. Fuck em.
winrid··on Back and shoulder surgery is often worse than useless
The sheer power of will :)

To be honest I'd forget and correct it all the time.

Related to posture or something else? It took me about a year to fix my posture but I no longer have back/neck pain. It basically meant being aware of it all day and consciously adjusting, but now I feel a lot better. It's hard to undo a decade of potato in chair.

That's also because people prefer Hybrids.

Make it an option so those with a skill issue don't make everyone else use a less powerful tool :)

Companies can say whatever they want it doesn't mean we'll agree it's okay or legal.

winrid··on Show HN: Microsoft Office running with Wine on Linux with no virtualization
I agree with that. They are only usable if you're fairly technical.
winrid··on Japan's book scene is moving from bookstores to libraries
No because they're likely mentally unstable :D
winrid··on There's no point at which turning your brain off will work
Good on you. I absolutely hate reading the output from Opus. It's disrespectful to make people read it, and to share AI output without reading and understanding it first.
winrid··on Show HN: Microsoft Office running with Wine on Linux with no virtualization
OpenOffice is older and outdated compared to Libre, which did you try?
winrid··on Japan's book scene is moving from bookstores to libraries
A smelly one
winrid··on Vibe Coding is the new Internet Dating?
I like to write code and still do, for like, Screeps. With AI I can have it do the mundane stuff, and use my knowledge/skills to guide it in a better product direction than others do (IMO).
winrid··on Java 27 Released
Don't put a 30gb heap on m4 boxes and you'll be okay
winrid··on Java 27
I have a couple 50k+ loc java projects written entirely by LLMs at this point that have never thrown an NPE.

winrid··on Shopify is moving from React Native back to Swift and Kotlin
probably because every react native app they've used feels like shit

The litter robot is fine, it's just a turning globe that dumps into a box. The main issue is the sensors corrode so you have to pop the globe off and replace them. I just take it outside and hose it lol

winrid··on GPT-6 Astra on robot arms
I think my grandmother is the only person I can think of in my entire family that legit folds cloths properly. Dying art? :D
winrid··on GPT-6 Astra on robot arms
Robot vacuums are massively simpler and they fucking break all the time. Wheel motors or their position sensors, belts, plastic gears, contacts that corrode, a circuit board someone decided to not comformally coat and a cat puked on it...
