Why modern C when you can move to Rust

I used to be a C++ Fan Boy. I just started learning rust last week and noticed how old c++ is. All the good practices are built into rust that you need to specifically write in C++.

Jane street is a very successful company that uses Ocaml for everything. Any other companies like that?

Even i wonder about this! Also is Abseil widely used in the industry or only at Google?

Is there anyone who has used rust instead of C++? What's your opinion on it?

Good that samsung started making their own SOC, Mobile manufacturers should shift from qualcomm worldwide. They have almost monopoly in mobile SOC now. US and china are the only markets which require qualcomm patents to work. Mobile operators should move away from cdma. need more competition.

Intel announced their 8 core cpu for 600 usd. Power supply 150 usd. 32GB ECC ram 350 usd. top graphic card 600 usd. High end motherboard 300 usd. Fans and case 250 usd. 1tb ssd 350 usd. 5k 27 inch monitor 1200 usd. Speakers 150 usd. So the total Cost is around 3850 usd. Apple just lied to us Tbh. I wish they made mac pros like the the original ones. Easily changeable hardware which is what exactly pro people need

The problem is Android and IOS basically came at the same time and got almost same apps in them. For a new platform there is not much to innovate other than we have the same features, but not the same company. There is only way to win in this industry now. Its to create a OS which has compatibility with android apps and has excellent hardware integration.

Really intresting clojure and clojurescript seems to be wonderfully designed and with the advancements that's going to take place in jvm I hope it can be as good at performance as java or Go.
