wharfjumper··on How we built DMARC Management using Cloudflare Workers
What do people use for "DMARC management"? I get these reports and do nothing with them at the moment because I haven't taken the time to understand them. Is there an open source tool that can help?

Keyword bids on rows + grid, equals monday just went crazy.
wharfjumper··on Rows 2.0: The easiest way to use data on a spreadsheet
Rows by any other name is still rows.
wharfjumper··on Dell and partners smash patent troll WSOU in court
This judge has presided over 19% of all patent cases tried in the US since about 2021. Fortunately that's changed now due to an order in July 2022.

Is there an AI blockchain yet?

We're in the process of migrating off Neo4j/OngDB to Postgres. Happy with how it's going so far.
wharfjumper··on You don't need live chat on your website
We started offering live chat on our marketing website about 10 years ago at my previous business. It was staffed by the same humans that worked in sales and support. Customers and prospects loved it. Highly recommended.

wharfjumper··on A Poor Man's API
I presume you mean postgres client libraries? Or have I missed a postgrest feature?
wharfjumper··on Soul – A SQLite RESTful Server
I hadn't heard that about the Optus leak. Do you have a link with further details?
wharfjumper··on The sad state of “open banking” in NZ
Westpac is an investor but don't have APIs. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer!

And their competitor BNZ who's the most advanced has "gone dark". The only way the banks will open up is if they're forced to.

The regulation of interchange fees is probably going to make things tough for Dolla (less incentive for merchants to switch assuming the merchant fees reduce).

wharfjumper··on Aussie online retailer's customer details comprised
Sounds like someone got the credentials for their CRM. Does anyone have any further details?

wharfjumper··on Australian Federal Police hacked, classified documents on drug cartels stolen
The headline is misleading. According to the article it's the Colombian police that got hacked, not the AFP.
wharfjumper··on Upgrade a 1TB PostgreSQL DB in under 10m
Interesting. Learned about liquibase which I hadn't heard of and looks like just what we need to handle schema changes over time across environments. Anyone used it or alternatives specifically for Postgres?
wharfjumper··on Discovering Azure's unannounced breaking change with Cosmos DB
Asking as someone who knows nothing about CosmosDB other than the frequent negative comments I read on HN, do you know what led to you using it?
wharfjumper··on PostgreSQL 15

Tell that to the Dukes of Hazzard.

NZ has a lot of hydro and a reasonable amount of geo thermal generation. Solar, not so much.
wharfjumper··on The $300B Google-Meta advertising duopoly is under attack
Since Apple, Microsoft and Amazon revenue mostly comes from non ad sources, a price war would weaken AlphaMeta relatively.
wharfjumper··on The $300B Google-Meta advertising duopoly is under attack
The main rivals referred to are Amazon, Microsoft and Apple so acquisition doesn't seem a realistic option.
wharfjumper··on Build Your Own Mobile Proxy for Web Scraping
Is there a way to use this/scrapingfish with puppeteer/playwright?
wharfjumper··on Firefox will no longer be a supported browser – service.mbna.ca
Ironically an "online casino" has hacked the CTO coaches website.
