Anyone knows facts that disprove his?
So, you already had the right hunch.
You don't really have a good direction on a random day and can't really get into the zone? Fix some small bugs for 2h and then call it quits, go to the gym, drink beer with your friends.
You got that one feature that you know exactly how you build it and you're on fire for it? Knock yourself out in a coding session of 2 x 20h and take 3 days off afterwards. Much bette than forcing yourself to quit at 6pm even though you're burning to do it.
Productivity means taking advantage of the human cycle, which is comprised of your mood, hormones, the characteristic of your problem and many more factors that you can't really control.
Examples from this batch?
We already have blockchains that are near infinitely scalable and decentralized with Elastos, IOTA (at scale) and Holochain with its agent-centric architecture instead of data-centric architecture as most blockchains have it, which is launching in a couple of months.
Nano is also very, very good and decentralized, has even instant transactions through its block-lattice architecture, but it isn't near infinitely scalable to billions of TPS yet or at least not yet.
The ventures that he takes on take normal companies a decade(s) to become commercially viable.
If he doesn't instantly have full products out, he has failed? Why the heck would you expect that??
I watched the boring compny video and all he says is that his concept have been known before him.
Yes, duh. But he was the first to make them usable as commercial products by making them 10x cheaper.
Anyone can make a costly prototype of something, but the challenge is making it actually profitable and commercial.
1. You rewrite the code. You said you would hate that, so not an option 2. You develop on top of the spaghetti code. You said you would hate that.
So, no matter how, you would hate working at this job.
That's why the only option left for you is really telling your boss how things are and that you can't see yourself working on this project.
You'll probably receive an offer with a 50% salary increase, so you can take that, but you should have a new job lined up already at another companyy.
There are mutations in microbes all the time that allow plastic digestion, probably millions every day.
Only needs one that really punches through.
So, while there might be downsides of decriminalization, the downsides of criminalization far outweight the former.
I assume you have a top 10% GPA?
I always hear in the bay area you get $150,000 straight out of uni, at least when you're from Stanford etc. Is this not the case anymore?
Edit: Ok, I see you're in France. Then 33k€ is rather reasonable.
There don't really exist exciting software companies in France or Germany, except maybe blockchain companies.
But they don't know that, so they keep bashing the blockchain without having any knowledge of other good platforms.
This always happens with big companies, Nokia, Ericsson, Yahoo, they are replaced by new companies.
5 years ahead for the big company means no progress.
Apple is where it was 5 years ago in terms of innovation. They havent done anything new that was meaningful and only reap the benefits of what jobs invented 15y ago.
Obviously, there would need to be adequate proof that the nodes then review, but once that is given, what's the problem.
Furthermore, the fraudulent vendor would be investigated for fraud and facing a fine or jailtime.
This could be a dapp on the blockchain.
I don't see why this can't be done by a team of trained lawyers and judges that review these fraudulent transactions.
Before modern times it makes you starve and die, because you didn't feel like you need to be selfish to take precautions for winter and put the needs of others first.
Today, it'll prevent you from becoming well off and free from corporate bullshit, because you don't really have ambition. So you have to work for the rest of your life in some middle class job.
Having a big ego is bad, having no ego is bad.
You need to figure out in which situations you need a big ego and in which you need none.
It's a much less invasive surgery and they only burn down your tonsils bit by bit and you can leave the next day.
This is a big fallacy.
Don't try to make it seem coincidental, instead make a real effort. Here 3 steps on how it works
1. Go to meetups, try out lots of new hobbies, connect with everyone on facebook immediately if you click. Do it with guys and girls. Some will be awkward, but most don't care and just say sure and connect.
2. Then keep the conversation alive a bit and meet up with them around the activity or meet up you met, ask who is going to the next meet up, be it hiking, exchanging info about cryptocurrencies, ruby on rails or whatever. You can also make chat groups on messenger with 10 people or so
3. Be a value giver, be an organizer, be the one who knows what's going on, people gravitate to people like that.
4. Doing this is not needy as long as you are a value giver. However, don't ask people all them time for value, don't be a value drawer too often.
5. Keep it lighthearted, don't become pissed if people don't join your meet up or son't reply. This is needy behaviour. After a few months, you should have 100 people in your new social circle, so what do you care if one doesn't come
As you can see this takes effort, but this is a recipe of how you can build a vibrant social circle for you within a few months time every time you come to a new city.
Most people don't do that, because they are so scared of rejection. But what do you care if 20 people don't want to connect with you when a 100 do. There are always people who want to stay for themselves, are weird or asocial.
1. Skycoin, Web of Trust 2. Iota, Tangle 3. Aeternity and soon alsk Ethereum with PoS/PoW hybrid
It seems you're too focused on a specific decentralized consensus solution, while there are already much better ones out there, e.g. Iota with a tangle, skycoin with a web of trust or Elastos that are immune to 51% attacks.
That's why crypto is still in its infancy.
It's a smart way to grow your app, but they need to be smart to sell something good to monetize their usr base wel now.
