That's pretty smart already if you ask me.
This argument doesn't make any sense. It wasn't a beta, nor an alpha, nor anything.
It was just a marketing gag without any substance or technology. As part of an alpha or beta, you need an actual pathway to a full release.
There was literally nothing. If this were released as a beta after having raised lots of money, people would call this a scam outright, because it didn't do anything new or more efficient.
Skycoin's consensus algorithm is among the few that are peer-reviewed next to Cardano, so i think that's as much credibility as you can get as a new coin.
Iota's coordinator is expected to be decentralised and then removed next year already.
In order to gain control of the network, you would need to gain 34% of the hash power, omnipresence in the network and omnipotence. I'm not sure what the cost of this is, but there is currently no more secure decentralized network design that I know of.
Keep in mind that 45% of Bitcoin's hash power is currently controlled by one company, Bitmain, and they are investors in the 3rd biggest mining pool, totalling 75% hashing power of the entire Bitcoin blockchain.
That's why one of the first 2 will probably replace Bitcoin until the end of 2018.
That's why this bank can calculate this factor in and have a small off-set budget for daily fluctuations.
Of course, there are also weekly 30% drops, but there are also weekly 30% hikes.
Across a span of a year, all of this volatility cancels each other out.
This is maybe only the case for 0.5% of all employees in general. The other 99.5% need a good balance, because work isn't as rewarding, sometimes strenuous, boring, annoying.
Not trying to be snarky, but genuinely interested.
Did the "inability" to focus on things you're not interested in impede you later in life, e.g. with taxes, social life, exercise etc?
It's the same as turkey calling other countries dictatorships and Nazis, so that they can't be called that.
It's a very common manipulation strategy.
Legalizing drug use and abuse reduces overall crime, drug usage, and damage done by drugs through more help, less stigmatization, clean tools, clean drugs.
It's literally the dream solution, however, politicians are too dumb to understand that.
It's proven scientific evidence, see Portugal.
But their manager told them ML, ML, so they need to invest in ML. This is not a joke.
Not sure what you see as revolutionary, but 10% improvement is evolutionary, maybe 30%, but 100% improvement is a new level.
Bitcoins goes up 5x, you gain from your long and lose from your short. Then, you find an algorithm that balances it out properly, done.
Ethereum is moving to a PoW PoS hybrid (Casper) which uses a lot less energy and so are most of the new cryptocurrencies.
It's possible that bitcoin will soon, too.
Furthermore, PoS systems such as Nano and IOTA aren't really more centralized than PoW systems such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, since only 6 entities possess more than 51% of the hashing power in Bitcoin. That's definitely more centralized than Nano or IOTA.
That's also the reason why Ethereum is moving to a PoS/PoW hybrid.
In a nutshell, near instant transactions with very high scalability and a very high degree of decentralization are already here(Bitcoin, Nano, IOTA). However, these technologies have not yet proven themselves and need to show their resilience against black swan events and hacks of all kinds.
We will see the results within the next year.

Meditation is more for calming the subconcious, dropping all the background threads that are running.
Maybe that's a "hack" that can fix your problem. Even if it doesn't, meditating a few hours at night gives your body more rest than rolling around and not getting rest nor sleep.
Maybe 4h of meditation at night is like 3h of real sleep for you, who knows.
Furthermore, you get a lot of insights and a better connection to your body.
I can recommend the app headspace.
