I do that, and I'm also planning to use icloud photos downloader [0], a python script to download photos, so I can download those directly on another machine running Linux.

Doesn’t matter. If using this and I send you an email, and my account disappears, you can no longer read the email you received because it’s merely a link to read something from my account on Google.

TLDR: it all comes back to the same principle: LLMs are predicting words based on their training. Which means they are not actually summarizing ideas from documents (or whatever other task we give them).

EXACTLY! The amount of times I run into people who aren't willing to even put 1 iota of effort into learning tools they use daily... astounds me.

Not until their outputs become predictable and reproducible. Then a form of English or whatever other language becomes your programming language with its quirks and special syntax to get the right result.
