vpavicic··on Basic terminology and practices related to graph databases and graph modeling
Thank you for noticing! I'll investigate this error and fix it accordingly ;)
vpavicic··on Basic terminology and practices related to graph databases and graph modeling
I am glad you liked it! You can play around with graphs on Memgraph's Playground -> https://playground.memgraph.com/
vpavicic··on Basic terminology and practices related to graph databases and graph modeling
I think we would notice because we would all start to sound alike :D kind of bland

ChatGPT or not, if this is an honest comment, thnx! :)
vpavicic··on Identify Patterns and Anomalies with Community Detection Graph Algorithm
Hi! I'm on the journey of explaining how certain algorithms can be used to extract knowledge in a graph database and this is my third article after PageRank (https://memgraph.com/blog/pagerank-algorithm-for-graph-datab...) and Betweenness Centrality (https://memgraph.com/blog/why-are-nodes-with-a-high-betweenn...) :)

Feel free to provide any feedback or examples how you used community detection in your use case! :)

vpavicic··on Why are nodes with a high betweenness centrality score high maintenance
thnx for the feedback :)
vpavicic··on Why are nodes with a high betweenness centrality score high maintenance
After the stars aligned and so many people read the PageRank article (https://memgraph.com/blog/pagerank-algorithm-for-graph-datab...) , I wanted to deep dive into the usage of betweenness centrality measure :)

Any feedback is welcome!

vpavicic··on PageRank algorithm for graph databases
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! What other graph algorithms would you like to know more about?
vpavicic··on PageRank algorithm for graph databases
The PageRank algorithm can be used for so much more than... well... page ranking :) hence the article :)
vpavicic··on PageRank algorithm for graph databases
Ahh! Thnx! I was sloppy... just bookmarked it for later, didn't even check!
vpavicic··on PageRank algorithm for graph databases
Thank you for your use case! I'll take a look at your thesis! :)
vpavicic··on PageRank algorithm for graph databases
I first heard about graph databases 13 months ago... there were so many questions in my head, I'm sure my colleagues still have PTSP when my name pops-up on Slack... :D If you also have questions about one of the most used algorithms used in graph databases - PageRank - I've tried to give examples of usage in various use cases!

What have I missed? What other questions do you ask yourself about PageRank? What other graph algorithms do you have questions about?

vpavicic··on How We Designed and Implemented Graph Projection Feature
I'm so happy to hear you'll make use of it! :) What are you working on?
vpavicic··on How to build a graph visualization engine
I tried it a bit and it does seem easier and it renders way faster
vpavicic··on Learn the Cypher query language in 10 days
Only curiosity... My biggest flaw - I don't like learning things I MIGHT need one day... I like to learn things I need NOW
vpavicic··on Write Like You Code
I enjoyed reading this very much! Thank you!
vpavicic··on Skills, not schools, are in demand among developers
I have a DevOps at home who barely finished high-school and now receive double the pay than me with an M.A. - but I am 100% sure he studied, read, practiced, explored a looooot more than me! So it's not enough to just do courses, you almost need to devote your life to it... Schools (formal teaching) perhaps give you a more structured learning path, you don't waste time (if it's a good program) searching for answers... it can be a good foundation... and everyone must realize - in IT, your learning never-ever stops...
vpavicic··on Omicron evades Moderna vaccine too, study suggests, but boosters help
As I understand it, the SA population is quite young and we are waiting for more data to come in on the effects of omicron (says so in the link you provided as well)... let's not forget we dismissed the whole virus as "just a common cold" at the beginning of the whole story as well.

The problem with letting others deal with their consequences is that they are overworking the medical staff, and are disregarding the population that cannot be vaxxed due to medical reasons.

I agree we should move from this fear, but I understand how for some the fear is still too real.

vpavicic··on Four Resolutions for a Healthier Tech Life in 2022
We are using the TP-LINK Deco Mesh AP, and it works wonders because both me and my husband switched to remote work and we can go to any part of the apt with our laptops when we have meetings and the connections is flawless because it allows the device to switch APs without loosing connection. Also, a thumbs up for hybrid back-uping... External hard-drives and Nextcloud FTW
