A lot of times you have the wrong solution and the better use of your time is to do something you can do fast. Then keep coming back to it and usually you come up with an idea that is much simpler and fast to implement.

A lot of times you have the wrong solution and the better use of your time is to do something you can do fast. Then keep coming back to it and usually you come up with an idea that is much simpler and fast to implement.
You have google docs and CMS open in 2 tabs
1. Ask to take your google doc and add it to the CMS
2. MCP tool takes the data from Google docs
3. MCP tool to convert text to CMS item
4. MCP tool to insert that CMS item
With the above you can view unique UIs for each stage as well, such as generating a table with CMS fields before accepting.
What is your recommendation for companies? To take it to the extreme are you saying fire everyone and wait for AI?
- AI checks if a MCP tool exists - If it does not exist, AI can handle it, then send feature request to add new MCP tool
By doing the above it will be more likely to do the correct action and save a lot of tokens
If you want to move fast, have clients/team members give Versoly a try (founder here).
The visual editor is based on editable HTML/Vue code. Low learning curve for developers and no vendor lock-in (main selling point is I can't increase prices, change license etc)
Open source is great but if the project dies or changes license it is useless, whereas open standards will live on. Which can be seen from tools using Redis APIs to create whole new backends on top of it.
- Leverages web dev best practices (Tailwind, mobile first, tiny open source packages for extra features)
- Bootstrapped and profitable (I won't randomly increase prices, if anything with more customers would like to lower or add more features)
- Features built for freelancers/agencies such as saving components that can be reused across client projects
- Flexible CMS based on Vue syntax (one of the easiest ways to extend HTML)
Markets will figure out how to do more with less to reduce costs, and this includes energy.
Any data points for the above?
Is it worth the ability to not replace them?
If so look forward to a marketplace of Framework laptops where you can easily sell your old model, and buy a new one.
If anything they have a cool slider/tabs for different actions.
Is there any open source alternative that focuses just on product analytics?
Huge market outside of React for developers who just want a good looking UI.
Compiling code faster and running it are different things.
If the goal is code that runs better on slower machines then that code needs optimising and to do that a faster machine is better at.
Ideal world is a CMS that allows clients to easily change the HTML without code. That way it loads fast, has great SEO and stops developers re-inventing the wheel.
That was the reason I built https://versoly.com/ (Website builder + CMS), why does the client have to contact you to change the background color or add a new section?
That is the "most" fun part of college if you're into nightlife. Friends of students would come up in the 2nd year and have a lot more fun because they had been earning money by working a full time job while students were getting themselves into debt to have a "good" time.
Unless you come from a good family you can't do any of the above and most of the time is spent being cheap.
Great friendships are forged by doing hard things, college can do that but there are infinite other ways to do it.
Find a great job with smart people, take long holidays and do the above without worrying about money.
1) Non-technical people can get setup without a developer
2) VS Code is built into the platform
3) Export as a static site if required
I tried 5+ website builders for my last company in 2017/18 and in 2019 decided I could do better.
All no-code tools of the past start from making it easy to use. Instead of making it flexible. They end up abstracting the HTML into custom JSON objects.
Versoly starts with HTML and gives you full flexibility.
If you're looking for a website builder to import them into and host I built https://versoly.com/
It has a code editor to import/edit/export code and has a no-code mode for marketers.
When I freelanced my #1 problem was clients asking for small updates such as a button changes, padding adjustments and adding new sections. I built Versoly to solve that while still being enjoyable for developers.
Usual questions from devs
- Does it include hosting? Yes
- Where is it hosted? AWS on s3/cloudfront
- Can i export code? yes
- Do the pages load fast? 99/100 on mobile
