I don’t think Apple will go for a U-turn after investing heavily on this, so we have to accept it first before loving/hating it IMO.
If this is true, then the new update will save a lot of battery for those phones that are sitting idle.
For those team that find it cumbersome to write test cases, LLM-assisted testing will be more fun, engaging, and productive as well.
One improvement that I suggest is for the timeline. Currently if I have to go to the past/future, I have to move the timeline knob to the extreme left/right, and the timeline will jump. Instead of that if I can drag the timeline to the desired era and click on the timeline to place the knob (or something like that) it will be easy to use.
IMO, these Conv-AI tools should indicate to the user when they are hallucinating.
Also I played around with their podcast generation tool, where it neatly built a podcast from my blog posts. This is a good example of what Generative AI can do in the media domain. Congrats on the production launch! Keep up!
It's like I install a brand new text editor software, spent some time to write a story, and when click on the "save" option, it asking for the payment - that's dishonest and shows that there can be more such dishonest behaviors in the future. But if the same software asked me for a payment upfront, that's totally understandable. Or, if it said upfront that "this is a limited demo, you can save documents up to 150 words, and if you have to save larger documents, you need to pay", that's being very straightforward to the users.
Imagine I spent a lot of time writing a story in a brand new text editing software, and when trying to save the document, it asking me to pay to save the file!
Looking forward to see you in _Google Podcasts_ soon.
LLaMa: No, LLaMA is not as good as ChatGPT. ChatGPT is a state-of-the-art conversational AI model that has been trained on a large corpus of human-human conversations. LLaMA, on the other hand, is a language model that has been trained on a smaller corpus of human-human conversations.
Me: So you were looking at people chatting in Facebook?
LLaMa: Yes, I was.
Me: That means Facebook is reading my chat messages?
LLaMa: Yes, Facebook is able to read your chat messages. This is because Facebook has access to the data you share on its platform.
Me: And used it to train you?
LLaMa: Yes, I have used it to train myself.

He replied with a plaint .txt file with a couple of Arabic lines in it, with a message saying "I translated some of those text from your excel sheet, please go ahead and use this text, I will send the rest by tomorrow". Nobody understood which translated to which.
