What did I 'call him' that you disagree with?
I'm very curious what poll you're referring to there that has him after "don't know".
Meanwhile, there has been a simultaneous attack on outlets that might actually spit the truth out there: the recent "changes to Facebook's algorithm" resulting in outlets like MPN, Democracy Now, and Wikileaks go from regular 20k shares to the 7-900 range practically overnight is suspicious in the extreme.
Not really. In a whole number of ways. I actually have no idea how you can say this with any honesty.
I mean, are you really arguing that national identity is the major stumbling block in integrating to a tribe in Papua New Guinea.... Here's a hint: Other :tribes: would have difficulty integrating, and they've likely never been introduced to the concept.
Please explain to me how you're so confident while simultaneously so widely and clearly wrong.
There may be places where this is routine, but it really shouldn't be - anywhere.
If you'd like to educate yourself on some of the transgressions of UK police in the past, and the extent to which subsequent cover ups have gone, I'd suggest reading some recent Irish history.
But I don't think it's remotely worthy of respect. You want to live in a society like that, go somewhere with no public schools or roads or firefighters.
If only I wanted to cast vague and unsubstantiated aspersions; then I'd be fine.
I could have sworn that you used to be able to still read [flagged] comments here. When did that change, or am I misremembering?
And this is even while under investigation and blocking a report on his conduct.
But sure, I am biased. Like half of Americans, I'm none too fond of either party - but this guy lies like a gaslight champion. Is that purely a left wing viewpoint, or is there an objective reality behind it? So maybe there's a wolf this time?
> it's only a matter of time before America is destroyed and collapses into a dictatorship
Have a look some time at how much the opinion of everyone but the top 10% of high earning voters matters on policy: Spoiler, it's zero. Has been for decades. Again, the 90% of Americans who aren't super wealthy have no effect on what policy gets through whatsoever, no matter which president has been in office.
He was head of the Washington field office when Guccifer was announced to have been identified, and other than that there's very little about him in the top layers of searching.
...A while back, I heard it much questioned whether Trump would leave willingly in 2020. The response was that the Secret Service would physically drag him out, so it seems odd that Trump gets to fire the Director without any reasoning given, then name their replacement. If anyone can explain that one to me I'd love to hear it.
In the nicest way I can say this, might you be in a bit of a bubble? For example, did you pay your Irish Water bill and assume everyone else did too?
For example, we've gone through multiple Garda Comissioners (head of police), a Taoiseach (head of state) and a justice minister over the treatment of a police whistleblower who was smeared as a child molester - twice, by police and the government agency in charge of childcare. But there was only one paper that remotely properly covered it, and this paper was then bought up. It was insane. And just one example of many.
Still, the two parties I speak of are on a long scale downward trend to the point where they're propping each other up with the help of a couple "independents" to stay in power.
Further, political pressure was put on Ecuador to mess with Assange by the US despite the above and more.
None of this is secret information. "Hacker News" letting this misinfo stand as top comment - I'm no longer surprised but I'm still disgusted.
I'll answer that Bono - because no one in Ireland asked for us to be run by leprechaun economics; that decision was taken by blatantly corrupt political parties that form a golden circle fueled by brown envelopes, protected by even more blatantly by corrupt police and state / billionaire owned media.
Normal people in Ireland :pay their fucking taxes: and he should too.
All two of them.. It's like they're related or something... And also; not really.
Many of the psychiatrists I have encountered "believe" in their medications, and when questioned as to how (and how well) the drugs they were informed about work have no real substantive argument for all their years of med school.
But fuck, do they get paid better. You won't see many shamans on a Pfizer sponsored golf trip in Hawaii.
In theory (though tbf not in reality) everyone has the right to an attorney. AFAIK there is no corresponding right to a paid Wikipedia editor.
>> Any paid, undisclosed influence is wrong, period.
>I guess you didn't read the article? The paid influence was disclosed.
“But the plans were on display…” “On display? I eventually had to go down to the cellar to find them.” “That’s the display department.” “With a flashlight.” “Ah, well, the lights had probably gone.” “So had the stairs.” “But look, you found the notice, didn’t you?” “Yes,” said Arthur, “yes I did. It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard.”
Wikipedia articles with significant edits from paid PR hacks need a big red warning sticker.
And it Was cowardly to downvote the original comment, which was documentably factual. It's more than a little prudish to come at me a day later and threaten me with a ban. If you have some kind of personal issue with me, I'd like it explained please.
And B, that hasn't stopped these guys from coming out with ridiculous stories as to how they work, speaking them with the utmost confidence, which is what I took issue with there specifically.
Also, it took decades for studies to be done on minimally effective doses for SSRIs leading to uncounted (and unlitigated) cases of people suffering and dying needlessly.
I hope people here are aware of the sheer number and scale of issues in this industry, from bribing prescribers to false advertisement and covering up of studies, with vast wings of the companies dedicated to 'PR' "managing" these issues.
The explanations I've heard from medical professionals of "why" these drugs work are comically full of holes. They don't really know what's happening with them, and this institutional arrogance, and the 'incidental' buckets of money, are why it's taken 5 decades for this basic, basic, basic fucking research to begin to come out.
Thanks for the comment though, it's nice to know that someone heard what I was saying.
