I am totally facing the same issue which you faced about working only during weekends. Your idea of working everyday seems nice i will try giving it a go :)

vayarajesh··on Steve Jobs’ Itinerary for Apple's 2011 Top 100 Meeting
They did not mention anything about MacBook Pro and MacBook Air (not even an update) :/ when they were mentioning about iPad 3
vayarajesh··on What it is like being the only engineer in a meeting [video]
I have already watched the video multiple times! can't help but notice the dumbest clients i have come across asking the silliest things! And the worse part is they do not and i mean DO NOT EVER understand the tech part
vayarajesh··on What it is like being the only engineer in a meeting [video]
You are frustrated :)

I don't think every person needs manager infact management is only needed to "manage" and managing comes into play where there is a large number of "things"/"people" to manage or look after. Small number of educated ppl doing minor tasks will never need management.

I agree :)

Awesome.. I have a similar situation regarding the project manager in the video :) we have a small team of 5 members and i don't think we need a "project manager" considering only 5 members working on a not-so-big project and the team members are efficient enough to self manage.

I dont think a small project with a small team even needs a project manager.

vayarajesh··on Your Path to a $16B exit? Build a J2ME App
One of the key reasons whatsApp was successful was the simplicity for the user to start communicating - No registration or username creation hence allowing users not to care about remembering passwords. Another important feature was that the user did not have to search for their friends in family if they were on whatsapp and then add them or send request etc. They used the phone number and users phone book. If you have a friend uses whatsapp it will automatically show you.

WhatsApps is easy, simple, quick and beautiful! so the path to $16B exit is not a J2ME app but an idea to get users start communicating with minimum amount of effort and time.

vayarajesh··on Numbers That Explain Why Facebook Acquired WhatsApp
If facebook promised to let whatsApp stay as an independent product and not pollute it with ads then why did facebook purchase it in the first place. They are not going to integrate whatsApp as a part of facebook messenger. They might make something else something all together but still a costly price to pay whatsApp to make whatsApp what its already doing. (could be a different reason to take out competition, either way a pretty expensive agreement.)

One thing is sure, any app which connects a billion users, facebook will go after it.

vayarajesh··on Never Be Intimidated
Very interesting, however i think intelligence is not only related to knowledge but it also resembles how a person thinks and that thinking leads to all the factors you look into a person like ambition, creativity, inspirations etc.

I think intelligence(not only knowledge) as a bigger definition is one important quality i look into a person.

I too agree completely that money, beauty do not matter as they are just attributes

I think they would have a very big plan ahead and they planned it for the IPO (or its a new trendy way for fraud) :)
vayarajesh··on King.com, Maker of Candy Crush, files for IPO
One of the reasons the game is so successful is because of manipulating and simulating human behavior

vayarajesh··on Candy Crush Saga creators have trademarked the word “candy”
How candy-crush uses human behavior to make it an addictive game?

vayarajesh··on 4 apps, one weekend
I always get similar inspiration to do something.. but somehow it goes away due to lack of good environment to work in.. and lot of distractions around me..

How do you tackle distractions which potentially can fade out the inspiration to create something awesome.

vayarajesh··on MIT Wristband Could Make Air Conditioning Obsolete
I think it is the concept "anything with a temperature change greater than 0.1 degree Celsius per second would produce the effect" is very interesting. Building a device to do that is not a big deal..
