v1k65··on An Indian technology reporter on how he witnessed the decline of democracy
I wonder same, I don't like Modi much, but my parents and relatives in India feel proud to vote for Modi. I recently watched a video by Shekhar Gupta [1] that put some light on why Modi keep wining despite of failing to boost economy, you can read too [2]

v1k65··on Bitcoin Is Dead – Tracking all notable Bitcoin skeptics since 2010
To my Grandmother, owning "gold/silver etf" is as silly/stupid as owning NFT to me. If I can't understand why would anyone buy NFT, how would she understand non-physical gold/silver etf. Maybe my kids would understand the value of NFT. At the end we are gonna own something we feel valuable to us or others.

I don't own any crypto, but do own gold/silver etf. Almost everyone around me own bitcoin (probably other crypto too). I hope few(or most) would successfully exit with good profit.

Maybe gold/silver was just useless piece of rock before enough people realized/accepted that this shiny rock can be used as medium of exchange or jewelry. Just like now people are slowly accepting bitcoin as digital gold.

At the end I'll never understand value/price of bitcoin or NFT, my Grandmother would never understand "gold/silver etf", and my kids would value bitcoin and NFT.

v1k65··on Bitfinex, the Italian network behind the boss that makes Bitcoin tremble
It's been almost a month arguing with my wife not to invest in Bitcoin. I'm just fed up with positive (microstrategy, tesla and other banks) news and negative news (mostly on here).

I believe institutional investors do their research before investing in Bitcoin. Why do they still invest if Tether & Bitfinex are fraud?

v1k65··on First Krita Beta for Android and ChromeOS in Play Store
In the last 6 to 9 months I have been learning Drawing (Pen/Paper), Digital paining (Krita) and 3D modeling (Blender) in my free time.

I must say, I had to try very hard to not explore Photoshop and other 3D tools, It wasn't easy when I see most professionals using Photoshop, 3DS, Maya, etc. From time to time i get frustrated with low quality Youtube's tutorials, numerous times I had to remind myself to have patience, and stick with Krita & Blender.

Now I in love with Blender, and getting used to like Krita with Wacom table.
