Absolutely agree with this. It's a shame that for the moment such a revolutionary technology is getting so tied up with _super_ shady stuff. For every 10 awful Ponzi ICOs there's a real gem of someone using new tech to really try and push boundaries.

OP here - I'm seeing 50/50 support for the gifs. I'm keepin my gifs. I like the idea of adding, and will probably implement, a toggle for all extraneous gifs. I love that most of the commentary about this article is about the gifs. Gifs.

As someone who worked for a company for a few years on a vast Tcl codebase, a company in which almost every engineer lamented the fact that they were working in an unused and unknown language, it warms my heart to see that it was used for this.
