What would you expect to happen of a brain were "unfolded" in some complicated way? Surely that would significantly change any structure in the em field.
This hypothesis doesn't sound immediately wrong to me like many other non-materialist/non-physicalist ideas, but it does sound like a suspiciously convenient way of excluding non-biological entities from ever possibly having a human like experience.

This makes some amount of sense to me, but what if you dread approaching people? how would you resolve this with still wanting to approach people/form relationships?

To me, the easiest way seems to be either sharing private keys from a different machine, or having some way to deterministically generate keys from a password or keyphrase, and the latter seems more secure to me because I don't have to trust a middle man to do the transferring.
