Yes, totally possible to build a startup part-time. 35 is a great age (experience / energy), but insignificant towards specific success. Your personal situation is more of an indicator. Frankly, I recommend saving money while focusing on your network and/or personal brand. Work towards building a startup: quality people, innovative product, efficient process and cheap capital.

When I read notes, I express through interpretation as a spectrum of emotion. So this spectral visualization is pretty much how I visually interpret musical notes, especially when playing by ear.

I think it's a confusing proposition to claim Mighty makes Chrome faster, which in fact it's replacing Chrome with a cloud-based video streaming service - a totally different architecture and operational model.

For consumer scale, I think decentralized (edge compute) wins. Possibly a good product for enterprise. Regardless, Mighty has a great team backed by top investors. No doubt they'll innovate their way through it.

IMO, NFTs are relevant as pop culture artifacts of a tokenized economy. It's less about the art, and more about the artist and buyers as a collective story. Valuations are high due to liquidity, technology and timing as a cultural shift.

Barclays has a history of writing short pieces on Tesla:

Allow me to reminisce.. in 2012 I created a JavaScript VM extension that executes custom functions inside native Excel. The extension also had a corresponding web-based front-end for creating apps that read/write directly to Excel. This was my baby, but investors (ie, YC) didn't think it was disruptive enough. Now I see these apps (ie, AirTable) pop up every month. Should I open source it?

Brian makes a case about the side effects of self-hosted wallets and decentralized identity (DIDs). However, he doesn't talk about how a hosted wallets (ie, Coinbase) has side effects as well.. people are effectively locked out of Coinbase accounts due to automated verification failures and no support.
