I love Skunk works! the book right next to it is called the Goal and is my highest recommendation, so you two should check that one out as well.

I did the insane thing of .... just updating to Dalle 3. My buddy recommended Flux, haven't tried it out just out of lack of time + Dalle 3 working pretty nicely

this is awesome, do you mind me asking what your prompt is? There is a really sweet photo on your site right now

these are great ideas! I had thought about the picture frame one, but couldn't figure out a low cost way of adding a frame around the monitor. Best idea I had was fancy looking tape/stickers around the front of the monitor. Definitely going to do the plant + new bookshelf below, already scouring Facebook marketplace.
tylerjrichards··on Streamlit's $35M Series B
I use it internally to show interactive results and explain stats concepts to PMs/Eng, so for example I was trying to explain exactly how increased sample sizes change the confidence intervals around a binomial proportion as the proportion changes from .5 -> 1, and then relate that to how much it costs for the business, etc. So I made a Streamlit app in a few minutes, and let them interact with it.

I've been using Streamlit for the past year and am consistently shocked with how quickly the team ships what the community asks for (everything from secrets, to themes, to making developing on top of Streamlit easier with components, etc). Good for them!

tylerjrichards··on Why do People Leave San Francisco and NYC? An analysis of techie's blog posts
yeah I would bet that you're totally right, it's just in this dataset it's mostly tech people blogging about them leaving SF or NYC. It's certainly not a random selection of people leaving.

I guess people who are running from the law don't blog about where they're going and why
