tudorw··on GPT-6 Astra Solves a WWI German Radio Cipher
This is speculation but maybe in the recurrent coupling between neuronal activity and the brain’s endogenous EM fields: neurons generate the field, the field ephaptically influences neurons, that closed loop may provide the physical integration associated with consciousness. A very active area of research so we will find out a lot more in the coming years.

Asked chatGPT to read the repo linked then 'Can you use the text content and simulate the text adventure here', currently I'm in a building somewhere up a stream, got some keys and have no idea if it's just hallucinations but it's fun.

I'd like to see something a bit like this that use real wikipedia then generates a side by side comparison of the output of the various leading models on that subject. Wonky is fun too though :)

I don't recall the name of the paper, surprising to me, it was fairly detailed on how the 'satisfaction' gamblers experienced was from the familiar losses, not the occasional wins, viewed in that light it's even more tragic.

tudorw··on One man's artistic wonderland, created in rental, gets protected status
In the linked wiki it makes no reference to your claimed origin, 'The term outsider art was coined in 1972 as the title of a book by art critic Roger Cardina' so my point stands, people inside the art world, a closely guarded circuit, decided that the way to define those natural artists who did not have formal training as 'Outsiders', which to me, is not a very pleasant way to describe a people that don't conform to existing paradigms, I don't accept the division, you are of course free to call it what you like.

Just finishing up a responsive website design with Claude, no typing by me, just a natural language conversation as I'm looking at the rendering differences and trying strategies to find a one size fit all without shims. The longer context is amazing, 'return the entire codebase to help us maintain a strong context, I have no hands' works extremely well, and it's handling an 875 line project of mixed html/css/js like a champ. This is as bad as it'll ever be, makes web design a pleasure again, well, sort of...

tudorw··on Moirai: A time series foundation model for universal forecasting
https://facebook.github.io/prophet/

"Prophet is a procedure for forecasting time series data based on an additive model where non-linear trends are fit with yearly, weekly, and daily seasonality, plus holiday effects. It works best with time series that have strong seasonal effects and several seasons of historical data. Prophet is robust to missing data and shifts in the trend, and typically handles outliers well."

Claude 3 seems much better than GPT4 at Python as of yesterday'ish, it's better at longer contexts (pasted 900 lines for example) and just a little better at organising and planning code. so much fun! Also getting fast!

Hmm, these are both odd, I've never seen an ad, it populates the page with sourced content, I wonder if it passed through some ugly java from a source site? Can you tell us what you searched for to trigger that, or any details at all to help?
