see the movie "Her"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1798709/
how many people will fall in love with Watson?
Not completely sure what scope you have in mind.
It reminds me of two things:
1. Tools of the Trade: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=5235137
they do an edition per year.
2. and somewhere there is a google spreadhsheet of all hacker news derived websites (all the guys who scrape hacker news to build "derivatives").
http://algorithmia.com/demo/hn does not work for me.
They answer this point on the website: "Q: Why do you use SHA-1 in the place of a MAC? [...] since this means still requiring at least 2^128 operations (instead of 2^256 with, say, SHA-2) to even begin trying to break this scheme, the trade-off seems fair."
Why not break the crypto (and take the money) if it's so amateurish?

I also found a blog post that figured the diagram, with some background infos:

Why the [Classification][100K sample?] checkpoint?
And more info in general about this whole cheat-sheet.
Otherwise, great and I like the one video I watched. Thanks.
The book actually has plenty of "tricks". Contrary to what I have read in this page I found (and this is the point of Dr Karps' books) that there are plenty of tricks that are absolutely not intuitive.
For example to avoid a tantrum you repeat to the child what he actually wants ("Jimmy wants to eat more cake") then explain shortly why he cannot and propose something else. I found this works surprisingly well. Just the fact that the child hears what he wants from your mouth seems to make a big difference.
I'd be interested in the same for web apps / web services.
What I find annoying is that to simply test a business idea where you need to store subscriber's email addresses you normally need to register at the CNIL for which you need a registered company which requires what is described in the article. It feels backwards somehow: you need to register a company (with all the paperwork involved) before you even know if it can work.
Input: domain name, and some texts
Output: a complete web app "ala redbeacon" for any niche
Use cases: RedBeacon for any niche, any language or location.
Input: a SQL database structure (.sql file)
Output: a complete web app with CRUD interface, admin interface, and user authentication
(something like this -> http://phreeze.com/cargo/customers with user authentication)
Use cases: any team of people who need to work on a common database. (I am looking for this since years)
Also great interview from Michael Zapolin (who owned beer.com, diamond.com, etc): http://www.domainsherpa.com/michael-zappy-zapolin-interview/
You can also do that with Adwords.
Making jokes using the word "Nazi" is common in America and England but is not well received by German people. I would recommend not making this type of jokes in Germany.
