Drawer is a better concept IMHO - it informs the user that there are some actions and the user can check them out to see what they do.
Or maybe I am wrong and people will love to pull down every list just to discover what is hidden there.

And Microsoft could have made the whole program opt-in. Then some would have their digital future, and I wouldn't. In that case everyone wins.
DRM always presents a problem for a paying user. When you pirate games, you have 0 problems and excellent, if not better, experience than regular, paying users.
IMHO, their proposed system is OK, but it should be opt-in, not opt-out. I mean to buy a lot of games and I have zero interest in playing online. Why should I care about that anyway? 24-hour check is...let's be honest and just say it is limiting.
This region-lock limitation prevents me from giving money to Microsoft, which is something they should want actually, and from developing for the console.
Find a game, pay it, download it, play it.
I would gladly pay for any service which offers one-click media consumption regardless if it was about games, movies, music, comics or some other.
Do you want to play more games from the creators of the games you've played and liked?
I too have a large collection of games that I will probably never play or finish. Doesn't matter though.
It hurts me when people my age (27) don't consider buying stuff they like. I mean, you are paying the creators of the stuff you like so that they can create more of it.
No one wants to work for free, why should we expect others to do it? Just because there is zero cost to digitally copy something doesn't mean that it was made with zero cost.
By doing side projects you are being creative. You learn new stuff. You actually care about your project. You also have to do everything yourself, including planning. Where else would you get such experience?
And the net result is that you learn new stuff in your side projects, something your employer gets for free. Your passion will pay off, eventually. It is nearsighted to assume that just because you "waste" time on side projects you are hurting you employer.
You hurt them more by simply not caring enough about the technology nor the project.
After all, public should be educated about ads.
