If I take look on roadmaps and apply developer velocity of MAUI, WinForms and WPF it will take many more versions.

Probably somewhere in Beijing and Moscow on the same day when bombing started, they were opening bottle of champagne because they got "excuse" to do same later when they need it.

We mention in our job descriptions clearly .NET 4.8 and still get 100s of applications. In the meantime we are working on upgrade to the new .NET but it will take at least couple years.
This for for sure not. They do not have capable multi-platform UI.
Much harder problem is getting rest of the eco system working on something else than mainframe.
Which models did you buy? I am looking over 2 months now with unlimited budget and have no luck.

I have currently Microsoft Sculpt Keyboard (still working but worn out) and Logitech M330 (too small).
I see much more abandonware for Python and Java.

What exactly do you mean? There was big migration towards .NET Core but full .NET will be supported forever. They even listened customers regarding WCF and helped a lot with CoreWCF.
Since 2016 .NET is running on Linux.
I have been working on 2 mil. LOC C# written by more than 100 developers over 15 years and it is really good experience.
From my three bad experiences two are from Germany and with both we lost a lot of money and time on lawyers.
Each couple years I have same dream extended for another couple minutes. It starts as recap of previous time and then it continues.
It is not nightmare neither some trauma and I know it will happen again.
- A lot of weird and bizarre people on the streets (talking with themselves, bad hygiene etc.)
- Not much respect for old people and pregnant women in public transport (young people will block only elevator, most of the time nobody will offer you seat etc.)
Still there are many more other things which make living in Vienna quite good experience.
- show the list of all stories that were on the homepage any time during that day.
Maybe there is a way to do that even now but I did not found it.
