Great thoughts, I use running for my personal thinking/reflection time. It really helps focus on problems I am working on or projects I am thinking about. Focusing on those really helps me get in distance because I don't focus on the running.

It's Sunday so I've had sometime to think about this and I'd say give it a whirl, but set some goals/paramaters. I will only try this for x months or loss x amount.

I'd get creative in how you can generate revenue too besides the demand/customer few. Right now people in the comments are focusing on the scale, well it's a hard product to arbitrage, but

1) Could you sell space on the cups for ads or other start ups? This might be the one time QR codes could work!. A Well placed QR code on the cap??

2) If you try to cut your costs (ie the coffee) look into a starbucks gift registered card, every x number of coffees you buy you get a free one. Also, once you hit a certain threshold you can customize (add flavors) to cups of coffee for free. Still charge the customer for it, but you get it for no additional cost.

3) It doesn't have to be Starbucks. I'd try partnering with unique coffee shops and try cutting a deal with them. They get people aware of their coffee and grow their customer base.

4)Or just simply use this to meet people doing interesting things. Who doesn't have time to get coffee in the morning--people who are doing things. Who can offered to have someone delivery coffee to them? People who've made money doing something.

I think it should be a RTB situation. As you're runner is in the line you place bids on the 4 spaces in the coffee holder and whoever bids the most gets that round.

It rarely pays to be pedantic when parody is involved. If you want to get really nit picky are you really adding anything to a jest by imposing forum rules?

Get a high fidelity prototype and quickly. Nothing better to keep them interested than a working model.

I literally had no meetings yesterday and felt that the lack of constraints on the day led me to be even less productivy. Think there is a fine balance of meetings to break up the day and give direction (maybe just talking with co-workers) and utter freedom. The latter feels too much like a study hall.

I'd steer clear of the 250x100 and other odd sizes. Stick with IAB sizes 160x600, 300x250, 728x90, which are the predominate adsizes. You'll be more likely to get into rotation on websites as a default ad with these size.

Also on corn_41 edit2: you're going to hear the word transparency a lot in the digital ad space. Everyone wants it and expects it so the more information you can put out the better.

That (they had to have a good time making it), and the purely promotional reason of this is in their portfolio! If they we're bidding on a job for me and they showed me this I would throw money at them. Dedication, quality, and creativity.

I think it look exactly like bike from Red's Dream, which was released in 1987 so any similarities might not be accidental. Also, 1994 is around the time they were ramping up for their first movie release and an IPO so I'm sure they had to "fix this" incase there were any questions.
