While I'm here I got to say, it's worrying seeing people not calling out what a bad solution the OP has suggested. Implementing a blind removal of a folder is not good practice. You will forget about this script/unit file. One day you may copy all your Thunderbird data to ~/thunderbird, think you're safe, then boom, it's gone.

Of course the CEO during an IPO year is going to downplay the shutdown. That said, there's no way the shutdown is going to change reddit in this case. They will replace the mods on the bigger subs.
Not if they get a chance to be in charge. Also many don't actually care about the changes despite what the mod blackout is asking people.

Well this posts article tone makes it sound like they expect the mods to get bored. Which most will. And like I said, they are replaceable.
