How generous ...

Coming from the early web days it still is somehow weird for me to believe in getting paid for such a blog post.

> Brave is a free and open-source web browser developed by Brave Software, Inc. based on the Chromium web browser.

My parents, which represent an average person nowadays, do know how to ride a horse to get somewhere. What they don't know is how to drive a automobile, even more- for them gasoline=danger. Cars can be a nieche solution for some nieche ppl, but I don't see how it can become mainstream now, as a business you anyway need a classic horse barn bc too few ppl know what is a automobile and how to use it

Android phones have become good enough to keep. - Written on a 4 year old phone.

Most people are. And Google tells you at least the same.

I was expecting a rant on "not" windows emulating. Sadly it is about bad grape juice.

To have a locked down, consume first, small display device?

Yeah right, because the spammers cared for facts.

Why the hassle and not just FCKGW-.......?

If I need 50 workers instead of 1, I can't compete.

> permacultural practices can compete in terms of output, it's just harder to industrialize

Then they can't compete – yet.

This is like blurring houses in Google Street view in Germany. The house is still there.

Why would you put something like this on github? Are there no "Hacker" forums anymore?

Because no one is using that stuff compared to simple mail.

Maybe contests should ask themselves if they need to change. Handing out prices for creations at the event.

It is now like you had contests for nail smiths, and suddenly you could buy the nicest nails at home depot.

Edit: Also you wouldn't hand out prices for a reprint of an oil painting.

If you put it in public, some spam site will scrape your content an republish it. There is nothing to do about it.

How are the numbers? How many percent even in tech, are working on such visas in the US?

Just create a big email provider with that kind of money. You might even get a legimate business out of this ;)

> Everybody wants a cheap object storage [...]

Are you sure? I would guess most people want a networked, cheap file system. Not an object-storage.

Even if not. I have a big project running since 2006 and only had to change a handful of lines in that time once (+350k loc).

It's just like any other religion.

Looks like a spam site.

Because that is what you would care of if you try to bring your wealth offshore.

> All Polish banks refuse USD/EUR wires or reverse card charges/payments from Binance.

How is that the fault of Binance?

I miss the part that explains WHY they would drain a battery. What kind of outcome has this test?

There are videos of Nessie, Bigfoot and Aliens for decades. Are we still trusting video?!

"Of course those numbers are true. I just made them up myself!" .... 6hours is a bit much.
