I'm curious about how you got in the door here. Very cool, but isn't healthcare IT notoriously cagey about access? I've had to do PHI training and background checks before getting into the system at my (admittedly only 2) PHI-centered jobs.
Granted, if it was such an emergency, I could see them rushing you through a lite version of the HR onboarding process. Did you have a connection in the hospital through whom you offered your services?
Just trying to keep my finger on the pulse of a neoword as it spends more time outside of containment.

The gist is that there are potential threats that any end-to-end encryption cannot fully protect against. Signal is a good provider of that encryption, but there are other considerations to protect highly confidential data, and Signal often lures non-technical users into disregarding those.
I don't think it's reasonable at all to look at a system's capability in games with perfect and easily-ingested information and extrapolate about its future capabilities interacting with the real world. What makes you confident that these problem domains are compatible?
I've had a decent experience with the Samsung TV (Tizen) client. It's annoying to not have it on the app store yet and to jump through the developer-mode hoops to get it installed, but to be fair it was a one time setup and I've been happy with it since then. Seen some occasional slightly janky menu navigation, but really it's been far better than I expected.
So we don't have a set of equations that we could expect to model the whole universe in any meaningful way.
Calling actions/thoughts that follow a concrete list of logical rules/algorithms "animal mode" is deeply anti-human.
