> Facebook really has little to do with this...

"Facebook addiction increases depression" - so yes it does. However, I think we need more companies like FourHere, Humane, etc. that want to fix the harm that social media causes.

Making close friends is a big reason why I'm building FourHere (https://www.fourhere.com). After working in Silicon Valley for years, the only people I've been able to somewhat connect with are co-workers. Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc doesn't actually help you build friendships -- it's a bunch of people you know about, but don't actually meet. And I think that's unhealthy. There are studies that show close friendships, can help us live up to 20 years longer.

WebP is considered to be a better image format than Gif, Jpeg, and Png.

WebP is widely supported by every major browser. https://caniuse.com/?search=webp

Golang and WebP were both developed at Google. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebP https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Go_(programming_language)

Golang has image decoder / encoder support for Gif, Jpeg, and Png... but not WebP. https://pkg.go.dev/image@go1.19.2#section-directories

Thanks for the advice

Thanks for the question. FourHere is a mobile app that helps people meet at local restaurants. I put the app on the stores before the pandemic hit, so timing here is because local restaurants are starting to re-open. I believe an angel investor could help me accelerate the growth of the business. I already can afford to fund the app myself, so seed funding is not the primary concern, it's more having someone with experience who can help secure funding and grow the user base.

Thanks for the feedback. FourHere is a mobile app, that helps people meet in small groups at local restaurants.

I have a business degree, and software background of 8+ years with Apple, Google, and Tesla. I'm in the process of looking for an angel investor who can help with growth.
