tiku··on How Long Is the Coast of Britain? (1967)
Depends on your measurements. If you measure with 1 cm it is longer than if measure with 10 cm.
tiku··on Tell HN: MitID, Denmark's digital ID, was down
Meanwhile the Netherlands is selling the DigiD system to foreign companies and today it came out that we are also are going to outsource of of our key tax systems to an American company.
tiku··on Show HN: enveil – hide your .env secrets from prAIng eyes
Ive made different solution for my Laravel projects, saving them to the db encrypted. So the only thing living in the .env is db settings. 1 unencrypted record in the settings table with the key.

Won't stop any seasoned hacker but it will stop the automated scripts (for now) to easily get the other keys.

tiku··on AI is not a coworker, it's an exoskeleton
So true. It is a exoskeleton for all my tedious tasks. I don't want to make a html template. I just want to type, make that template like on that page but this and this data.
tiku··on AI is going to kill app subscriptions
Only unique data will be worth something.
tiku··on Ask HN: Are you using an agent orchestrator to write code?
When orchestrating you need to have a damn good plan / requirements. And then I'm typing or thinking a lot beforehand. And at the end it's never 100% what you want.

That is why I'm going back to per function/small scope ai questions.

tiku··on Speed up responses with fast mode
Does that just use 2 agents at the same time or something like that?
tiku··on Speed up responses with fast mode
So us normal pro accounts have slow mode. Thanks anthropic.

I'm currently testing Kimi2.5 with cli, works great and fast. Even comes with a web interface so you can communicate with you kimi-cli instance (remote even if you use vpn).

tiku··on Peerweb: Decentralized website hosting via WebTorrent
Napster.. so what happens if peerweb.lol goes down?
tiku··on Microsoft 365 now tracks you in real time?
Run it from a VM, use a hotspot named the same as your home connection. Lots of options!
tiku··on 430k-year-old well-preserved wooden tools are the oldest ever found
Now find the tools used by the Egyptians or the people before that lived there and made the tool markings..
tiku··on Show HN: A desktop app that blocks work when you bite your nails
So now I can stop slouching and biting my nails. 2026 is here!
tiku··on Are we all plagiarists now?
I've built a react invoicing tool, I can't help but think that it probably ripped of a bunch of code. I've added my own touch now but it seems like it was wat faster with generation.but then again, it's hardly rocket science.
tiku··on ChatGPT wrote "Goodnight Moon" suicide lullaby for man who later killed himself
He probably asked for it.
tiku··on Claude is good at assembling blocks, but still falls apart at creating them
For the network.
tiku··on Clicks Communicator
Why is there no market for cases with keyboards inside, that baffles me.
tiku··on Google engineer says Claude Code built in one hour what her team spent a year on
I've built stuff with Claude that would have taken me months to build alone. So why is this so strange? It is excellent in combining stuff.
tiku··on I'm a developer for a major food delivery app
Stop buying the overpriced slop. My hunger disappears when I see the prices for just a pizza.
tiku··on James Moylan, engineer behind arrow signaling which side to refuel a car, dies
One of my previous cars didn't have the signaling arrow and I missed it instantly. Such a subtle great idea.
tiku··on Stranger Things creator says turn off “garbage” settings
And how about the content garbage? Not spoilering anything but man...
tiku··on Kidnapped by Deutsche Bahn
And I thought the Dutch Railways (NS, Nationale Spoorwegen) where weird.. We mostly have issues with trains not showing up, but then the next one arrives in 20 minutes so it usually isn't a big problem (unless you are cutting it close).

We had a lot of issues in the past with the first leaves falling on the track or a bit of snow. And they ordered trains without toilets. So also cattle trucks.

And have I mentioned that you pay a lot for this "service"? second class, normal costs: €18,80 to get from Utrecht to Amsterdam and back, 50 kilometers.

tiku··on CIA Star Gate Project: An Overview (1993) [pdf]
Also it would be very easy to proof that it really works. Instead they remain vague. They remind me of the dropship sales boys, that mainly sell courses on how to dropship instead of dropshipping themselves.

If you find a believer they will worship you with no hard questions.

tiku··on I stayed in a $40 capsule hotel (London)
I've used a capsule hotel in Tallinn.

The problem with capsule hotels is that it attracts the wrong crowd. In Japan it works because they are considerate.

I've used a capsule pod for a week. Drunk people having sex above your head is not fun. Those plastic pods are a bit flimsy.

The last day there was a whole polish work crew that invited there girlfriends. They had no problem walking around in their underwear.

I had this Japanese vibe in mind, but that was quickly gone.

tiku··on Show HN: Mysti – Claude, Codex, and Gemini debate your code, then synthesize
Perhaps that you can tell it to "use gemini for task x, claude for task y" as sub-agents.
tiku··on Show HN: Mysti – Claude, Codex, and Gemini debate your code, then synthesize
I like this solution that you can ask Gemini
tiku··on Show HN: Mysti – Claude, Codex, and Gemini debate your code, then synthesize
Anyone knows of something similar but for terminal?

Update:

I've already found a solution based on a comment, and modified it a bit.

Inside claude code i've made a new agent that uses the MCP gemini through https://github.com/raine/consult-llm-mcp. this seems to work!

Claude code:

Now let me launch the Gemini MCP specialist to build the backend monitoring server:

gemini-mcp-specialist(Build monitoring backend server) ⎿ Running PreToolUse hook…

tiku··on Ask HN: How are you LLM-coding in an established code base?
I describe functions that I want to change or upgrade. Claude code gives the best results for me. I ask for a plan first to see if it gets what I want to do and I can finetune it then. I have a project that still uses zend framework and it gets it quite good.
tiku··on Apple has locked my Apple ID, and I have no recourse. A plea for help
I went back to an MacBook pro M5, after being away from Apple for a year or 5 (Lenovo etc). I tried to re-enable my apple account but I had to wait 5(!) days to change the password. I ended up making another account.
tiku··on The highest quality codebase
I enjoy finding the problem and then telling Claude to fix it. Specifying the function and the problem. Then going to get a coffee from the breakroom to see it finished when I return. The junior dev has questions when I did that. Claude just fixes it.
tiku··on Israel used Palantir technologies in pager attack in Lebanon
The human in the loop gets a few seconds to decide if it's a target or not, do not know the exact number.
