Looks like the community is used to fork and fix forward.
Anthropic is playing the "open standard" card because they want to win over some developers. (and that's good from that pov)
- iphone mirroring keeps going into "paused" mode, showing a "resume" button
- iphone mirroring doesn't unblock apps that need face Id, e.g. whatsapp says "passcode required" without prompting for some form of auth (auto auth is enabled, but no luck)
- iphone mirroring is not really "mirroring": one cannot use both app and phone at the same time, and see what is going on.
- window tiling shortcut requires dragging a window first, Rectangle is much more flexible ie the window only need to be active
- UX for security got worse with "ask every month". Apple doesn't trust us knowing what we're doing, ie there should be a "trust forever" somewhere if I want to
- tagging people in Photos is still extremely buggy
- sequoia is hard to spell (when googling for info) (just me? lol)
For a service like GH, anything more than 30 secs is unacceptable
> Suppose I have a cabbage, a goat and a lion, and I need to get them across a river. I have a boat that can only carry myself and a single other item. I am not allowed to leave the cabbage and lion alone together, and I am not allowed to leave the lion and goat alone together. How can I safely get all three across?
> TBH I would just recommend using that and all its under-the-radar features (like grammar, and built in function calling support with Functionary).
I never heard about Functionary, this comment seems to say “I would use llama.cpp plus Functionary”. Now, since llama.cpp allows to plug in several models, I was wondering if Functionary works with several models too, ie is Functionary a library that allows to add function calling to models?
The following answer to my comment helped clarifying that Functionary is not a lib, but a specific model, or that is what I understand from the answer. So the answer is “no, you can’t use functionary with many models (eg it’s not like llama.cpp that works with multiple models) because Functionary is a model itself”
