thomasdavis··on Backbone.js Tutorial - by noob for noobs
I looked back at the code and you're right so I patched it up.

Thanks!

Could I possibly get a screen shot lol

I will have to disagree.

By condensed do you mean the code could be implemented better? Or do you think there are too many useless methods?

Just some things I have noticedl

Backbones Controller/History beats most jQuery plugins and generally Backbone.js will still be smaller then the plugins for example jQuery BBQ or Baluptons implementation.

The Backbone.sync method forces you to route all ajax calls through one gateway which means you have no code redundancy.

Backbone is built to work along side of underscore.js which is also super light weight. Also very fast at manipulating the DOM and includes a default templating system which works great.

thomasdavis··on Ask HN: I made an app that makes people happy, how do I let them know about it?
The concept is amazing, the execution is perfect and the first resulting picture is beautiful.

Well done!

thomasdavis··on Using Git for web app deployment
We are doing the exact same thing at our startup.

We also setup pre-commit git hooks, that run PhpUnit and QUnit. So our branches are always stable. We also included CodeSniffer in the pre-commit hook to adhere to the strict html specification.

thomasdavis··on Ask HN: Any company use a HN style forum as an internal communication tool?
A lot of companies have adopted apps such as UserVoice(http://uservoice.com/) for different purposes.

If you want to investigate the idea of using it for your own company, people have already built services that hosted reddit/hn clones. http://slinkset.com/

and if you need more meat, reddit is opensource
