I wanna know why people will drive around the parking lot hunting for that sweet spot, spending who knows how much time, instead of grabbing the wide open spot a lane over that adds about 4-5 seconds of walking.

But in my case, that same plane has a seat rail lock that fails during takeoff. Luckily I had an instructor with me who grabbed the yoke when I had to let go.
It's a weird world where you're confident to not rent a plane that will stall because of some aftermarket install, but you're on your own if that old seat fails.
I'd avoid the "military grade" encryption marketing part though. For a lot of people, "military grade" means lowest bidder.
Is this where people are moving?
I believe in taking care of myself, in a balanced diet, in a rigorous exercise routine.
In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an icepack while doing my stomach crunches.
I can do a thousand now.
After I remove the icepack, I use a deep-pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water-activated gel cleanser. Then a honey-almond bodyscrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel-scrub. Then I apply an herb mint facial masque, which I leave on for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm, followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
I've heard about more friends getting scammed and having their reviews deleted, and dragged out refunds if they happen at all.
Almost all of them ended up with chargebacks on their credit card, and then airbnb bans them.
I wonder if they're looking for a history of that, and just hoping people don't care about what info they're giving away.
The fact there are enough people that participate in this to keep an open pipeline of pangolins is some strange medicine.
Every person I know that went to college has had a dream about being lost or stuck on campus.
Dreams about being in the backseat of a car unable to reach the pedals are so common it makes me wonder.

Its impossible to pressure wash away how bad its gotten, which makes my truly great memories of the place as a kid even more sad.
That Shanghai-Covid Disney story seems like the peak. Trapped inside, with rides running until you get a negative test.

Try to haggle down the price of a bean burrito at taco bell and see how much fun that is. There are all kinds of bean burritos to choose from in mi barrio, but they aren't budging to make a deal.
The same people haggling for cars are paying over asking on house bids.
I've haggled at a guitar center, but then I can't do the same thing at a hot topic when I pick up my chain jeans.
It's a weird game, but more bragging than haggling. The sense of satisfaction at having bargained it down is a pretty good rationalization after you've purchased.
Floating by in a little 20 foot Catalina while the sail of a nuclear sub cruises by is surreal.

I know nothing about nothing, so it's a real question.
They usually follow a formula. Boss: I need you to do something ridiculous.
Employee: I quit.
Boss: oh bother, I done goofed. What can we do to get you to stay.
Employee: fuck you
It's sad what people will make up for internet pats on the back
A friend of mine bought a book online, that was just a link to a pdf in an S3 url.
I chopped off the /book.pdf part, and it was just in an S3 bucket with all the other books they sell.
I try to imagine weird things, like flying cars, to kick off the dream state.
