you should fork, implement the change and create a pull request first. Dont assume that they wont implement it. they might do it.
and the twitter guy makes it sound like its a huge deal...
i can highly recommend to directly use iptables and take a look at the arch linux wiki and especially this site https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Simple_stateful_firewal...
but i would also argue that its way more secure than needed for 99% of the users
so get yourself your favorite search engine and look up studying material for that ;)
make it lean and use the css operators like > first-child etc.
time coding go: to short because this seriously keeps me away from learning it
chromium literally is the foundation of chrome... wich makes your statement rather wild
look at how gps works (its really simple) then look at some passive systems and some active ones
you will see why noone made an elegant solution yet
