PI is best for any local model not just Qwen but you can use hermes as it offers more kind of productivity though hermes is not optimized right for local agents which will somewhat affect your work balance but with some tweaks like

1.Trim the Token Tax: Run hermes tools and turn off everthing unused 2.Enable KV Cache / Prefix Caching

see you need to manage between using ai to debug code or create code even and reviewing it manually because its the hard truth ai debugging of code is not of good quality and manual debugging is always superior now comming to the part manual debugging being slow for that you have to understand skills are the centre meaning you can use a hybrid model have ai write code in segment meaning the amoung of code which human brain can read by this you can review the code fast enough as well as you'll save your ai also some time while debugging the code and to answer your question what is going to happen in future in future or even now human developer can't be replaced compared with someone with less skill and heavy ai agent knowledge its just about balancing between too hope it helps

enzo is platform which clubs all the free available api services and provides you with a interface where you can chat write code research or talk just like any normal ai service but its totally on your terms meaning everthing it does you can see or modify according to your need

no no on when you self host its completely of our server meaning chat hits the official api server of the provider you selected our server is not involved and data which is stored is mainly conversation pattern and your choices to optimise your experience and that too is stored locally so you can anytime see it or delete it and even on our server if you opt for hosted variant we don't store anything our server just acts as a place which hosted the same code which you can host locally just to add a bit of convenience thats it

it targets the problem which everyone has faced once in their lifetime and i feel enzo could help solve that problem if you enzo have that potential a small feedback would be great

its easy just a some normal soldering iron usually costs less 2-3 dollar get flux and then soldering wire thats it for starter start building during the journey keep on upgrading based on need don't buy too much product as it will just create a urge to use them all while not been able to create onething properly as you learn and buy you'll understand how to use that specific product

yeah fair, they do overlap on the basics. honestly if you want to run local models, openwebui is the better tool today and I'd tell you to just use it it's way more mature and the ecosystem is huge.

enzo comes at it from the other side. no local model setup at all, you paste your own api key (openrouter, groq, gemini, whatever you already have) and requests go from your instance straight to that provider. i built it cause I was already paying for provider keys and wanted everything on my own box instead of scattered across 5 different chat apps.

the other difference is it's more an agent workspace than a chat ui. stuff like "scan my unread gmail and draft replies" or "find me a slot on my calendar next week" works right after oauth — you don't go hunting for community plugins or wiring tools yourself. it also generates full-stack web apps and serves them from the same instance, which openwebui doesn't really do.

and it's plain apache 2.0 (openwebui moved to a custom license with branding requirements a while back, which annoyed a bunch of people at the time)

so yeah same shelf, different product imo. got a gpu and want local models then openwebui. already have api keys and want the thing to actually go do stuff for you then enzo

and as to define what it is basically its an AI chat interface just any mainstream ai chat service but the major difference its completely free and opensource meaning anyone can run and use it it works on BYOA concept merging major free providers into one hood and basically trying to deliver every feautre of a premium service without any credit limit or usage limit with full user control and main reason of developing this was the constant frustration of finding a platform where i can access open models without any limit or daily credit despite free api access being their no platform had a perfect place for mutli purpose need usage so i build enzo in order to put some effort in eliminating user hassle and giving them quality experience
