teryyy··on Ask HN: How much equity should an early employee get?
0.2% of this would be $70k - $140k, which is a tad low for 4 years (especially for more senior employees) but isn't a rip-off IMO

teryyy··on Show HN: Pairagraph – our attempt to build a new high-quality discussion forum

teryyy··on Ask HN: Should I leave FAANG to join a startup?
If you're willing to take the risk + accept the low expected monetary value, I'd say (3) will definitely let you learn most about starting a startup and finding cofounders. To that end, IMO ideally find a startup with <5-10 people so that you can get in early and learn from the ground up.
