temphaaa··on F-Droid 2.0
Can someone recommend a good F/OSS ebook reader on F-Droid? The existing ones I have tested have too many knobs and options and are not really user-friendly.... My wife started to get into reading, but I could not get her to get out of the Kindle/Play Books ecosystem because of the user-friendliness and easy synchronisation across devices that Kindle gives.
temphaaa··on Abandoning Scientific Linux Was a Mistake
just way way too much words to parse everythings...

in general a lot of people wants a lot of things from the free time of the others but not doing anything about it.

if you are using your tokens to write lengthy blog posts maybe spend them instead on trying to improve distros for LTS if that's what you want from SL.... Supporting old stuff, packages, kernel and hardware is really really a shitty and non rewarding job tho (been there done that), people only complains -- for example with length blog post -- and you don't get much rewards....

my experience has been great with copilot cli, but yeah there is some memory leaks here and there and slowness which i hope this rust port can help with

there is a point where maintaining zillions^H^Hmany plugins and keep them updated between version gets nightmarish (see gnome extensions for example)

sorry for the bluntness, but you should have probably thought twice before hitting the send to Hacker News button, i didn't find this in any way interesting and i am definitively not a LLM hater

I stopped at "vile imperious war" I don't know how anyone can judge the moral of this war, bombing a country and civilian is certainly "bad" but doing nothing is while a regime has been oppresing the population for decade can be seen as morally "bad"
