> The "during" is hard work, and very lonely work. There are no promises of success, and indeed, the path is one where you can't see more than three feet ahead of you and you exist on the cliff's edge of extinction by any silly mishap. The work of "during" is exhausting, and it constantly holds you taut and alert, afraid of the shadows that lurk beyond the campfire's edge.

Well said. All anyone can do is to do the lonely work till you can't anymore or you find friends to not be lonely at that work anymore.

I wanted share this project I've been working for a little over a year now. The theory behind the project was that a lot of local information is lost due to the nature of wide area networks (like the internet) which leads to increased inefficiencies in the overall economy. So many neighbors don't know each other, and so many buyers and sellers do not transact because they just didn't know each other.

Over the last year, I bootstrapped the app and the app got mentioned as one of the best apps of Google Play in 2022. After having done a lot of cheap A/B testing via online ads, I have finally decided to raise funds for the app and take the next step. While the app is far from it's final shape, I was wondering what the hackernews community thinks of it.

Any feedback and help is highly appreciated! Thank you all for your support!
