Maybe “always” should be “only”

Make sure to always select “Don’t recommend this channel” for garbage

To be fair any errors during Space Ghost: Coast to Coast were indistinguishable from just trolling the audience.

Seems pretty bad that there are US soldiers willing to participate in this.

I do this if I really need to soak something but the cycle after I turn back it on is weird because it’s not “resuming”

Yeah, I didn’t even get into how poorly it seems to actually wash the clothes. Been thinking lately that it would be cool to get a washboard that fits nicely in its tub that I can use to scrub the clothes by hands and then remove for the rinse cycles.

Feel like replacing my piece of shit LG with this. It can only soak for a predetermined amount of time and if I try to pause it to soak longer it drains the water in 3 minutes. Plus, scrud!

Cops posing as subpoenas are tricking the 4th amendment into barely existing

> On a related note, when I lived in FL, I often saw cars with this opaque plastic cover on number plates.

Daily Show segment on a guy who "uncovers" these in NY including cops' personal vehicles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1J5nuA1QNs

> Mickey Mouse Clubhouse's lazy CG animation and unimaginative storytelling

Yes, this show is absolute dogshit, pure slop and yet it ended in 2016. The dialog is completely braindead, episodes barely make sense.

The ancient Mickey Mouse cartoons are so good! Just a few I loved which are still very funny and I bet a few people remember:

- 1940: Mr. Mouse Takes a Trip ("Tickets please!")

- 1959: Donald in Mathmagic Land

I feeeeeel like this helped me but didn’t solve the problem fully. Changed it like 2-3 weeks ago.

It should be allowed and downvoted

ICE flavored Nuremberg when this is over.

Every major merger announcement includes this obvious lie.

If you have a high paying job in the US it usually comes with legitimate health insurance paid for by your employer, meaning most of the cost of most healthcare is covered.

If you don’t you pay a lot. Before ACA non-group plans generally didn’t cover any health conditions that predated your coverage.

ACA was just good enough to cool down demands for a true public health plan while also being just shitty enough to turn everyone else off to ever wanting one. Essentially the perfect way to prevent a public option for generations.

BTW for people considering this it definitely means making sure you have a secondary account that you can transfer to before you get that first email.

This is a substantially more serious scenario now that transcribing and analyzing audio / video content is so much faster & cheaper today. Previously some freak had to watch or listen to everything in nearly 1:1 time to eavesdrop.

This is just wishful thinking. Unfortunately the damage they came to do has been done and without an act of the legislature (less likely than an act of god) the damage will stay done.

It was kind of a blast but a couple of newly introduced bugs this year or late last year totally killed it for me.

Not on our ’21 Honda

Show me a cop that doesn’t belong on the Brady list and I’ll eat a ham and cheese bomb on italian bread

It’s really not a word choice thing (though it’s definitely the favorite word choice of orgs who are committed to not doing anything about it).

It’s that the complaint is descriptive on 5 or so actual problems and a couple of impacts that stem from them and the response doesn’t address any of them, it just looks like an attempt to take this issue out of the public space.

It was an unforgivable crime, obviously. Much like these war crimes.

This comment says he is awaiting Louis Rossman’s acceptance of this code for the bounty he raised, pretty cool if this all works out!

> Normal people who experience a bank treating them like shit will assume the bank has treated them like shit. However they are wrong.

Sort of an aside but utilities are done differently in many states and the expansion they are doing specifically to accommodate data centers is going to massively increase consumer rates

See if you can get some miles out of it. Alaska miles are still some of the most valuable for using on international partners.

I don’t know but my best guess is in the low hundreds given the Vline sells for $679. Just installed one in a 2008 Lexus with a resistive touch screen and ancient interface, now I’ve got CarPlay.

For a few years (maybe ~2017-2019?) you could lease them for well under $100 / mo in CA with standard down payments & fees. Total lease cost was like $1k per year.

Figma is pretty great but the lack of a minimap / navigator pane is glaring!
