tehaugmenter··on Parity, a numbers puzzle game
I found a couple times I almost had a solution and had 1 move off, I did have the feature it definitely would be less challenging.

Levels 51+ introduce a black and white mechanic that decrements or increment the tile instead of them all just increment. This does add a level of complexity.

The formula: (x² − y³)² = z³(x + y²)

Made me dig up this old guy: https://www.google.com/search?q=5+%2B+(-sqrt(1-x%5E2-(y-abs(...

tehaugmenter··on Keurig 2.0 DRM Bypass
I feel like the refillable would be easier to circumvent. You could just tape the label to the lid and use it like normal, instead of to the machine itself.

My work recently got a new machine, not sure if it has DRM, but the cup holder you have to remove to use the Keurig branded refillable brew basket has 2 tabs that block you from inserting the refillable one.

Oh how I love running into Java applications on the internet. It seems every time I do anymore I am told I need to update Java.

Nevertheless, this was worth it.

I looked into it a bit and it states the following:

> At this time, we are able to ship within the United States and Canada only.

Might be the reason for the redirect?

tehaugmenter··on In Seattle, a Sinking Feeling About a Troubled Tunnel
That is really cool! Thanks!
tehaugmenter··on In Seattle, a Sinking Feeling About a Troubled Tunnel
It's also 12 stories deep in the ground.[1] I was also looking for the other dimensions for the tunnel. It's just crazy to think about digging holes like that. Just like the Channel Tunnel along the English Channel. Insanity is just the name of the game when it comes to Tunneling.

tehaugmenter··on A 19th Century Scientist Who Thought 22 Trillion Aliens Live in Our Solar System
As much as I enjoyed Neil Degrasse Tyson's Cosmos, I wish he would of scraped into some of these theories as well as the Drake equation. Although he did talk about William Herschel he failed to mention his theory about life on the sun.

Overall, very intriguing. Adding your mention of the Drake equation got me looking into it a bit, added some flavor to this article. Thank you.

Not knowing whose blog it is leads you believe it may be a factual article as well.

I refuse to upvote misleading information like this.

tehaugmenter··on Questioning the Longstanding Plan to Merge the Dead Sea and the Red Sea
Aside from the project being super expensive, I think this would be a good idea. I don't know why conservationists are so stingy sometimes. If they really cared they'd stop the siphoning from the dead sea.

Adding a hydro electric option on top of it all could increase electricity stability in the region. For the longevity of the people there I think it would be a good move.

That does seem absurdly low. I would think at least a couple years for a rape charge at the very least.

I don't know where you found it but thank you sir! Very enlightening and helpful for those things you get rusty on. Calculus was 6 years ago now for me and just skimming over what is in this sheet helps a hell of a lot. Awesome!
tehaugmenter··on Bitcoin $600
Honestly I would withdrawl $1000 from it so you have that $500 again. You pull your winnings and keep your base invested. That's the safe play. Doubled your money, you have it secured. Let that extra winnings be the gamble. If you lose you still won.
tehaugmenter··on Yet another Java security flaw discovered - Number 53
Will this ever end? Doing anything in Java these days just seems so counter productive.
tehaugmenter··on Stock Android Isn't Perfect: Things I Can't Stand About Jelly Bean
I can't stand reading this guy's article. I've been an Android user for 3+ years. The functionality of the back button just comes natural to me at this point.

The back button has always moved from an inner screen of an app back to the main app screen. It's ALWAYS done that. If they were to "fix" it for people who can't figure that out, they'd piss of every day android users.

Scenario: Text message received, using a web browser currently. Bob says: "Hey did you remember to ask Joe about that thing?". What is your next move? You respond to Bob, and you hit _BACK_, scroll to Joe's thread, and ask Joe about that thing.

This is intended functionality. Translating that into a manual friendly context is not really that easy. The majority of people these days don't even read manuals. If you can't figure it out, then get an iOS device. I feel like the back button is pretty straight forward (irony).

tehaugmenter··on Google Wallet hacked again; new exploit doesn't need root access [video]
This is why large scale companies will most likely never move to an Android based device. Sad but true. Blackberries they control through their BES Server and set the failed attempts to anything they want. Its like having Active Directory on a phone system.
