Working from home can get to a point where you feel like you are stuck in some time loop and going crazy, but it's better to take time off and go around and be in different env, than to be required to commute daily and sit in meetings you have no say or impact on you at least with remote you can mute yourself and relax.
one customer segment that can reaaaally benefit from this is people who edit videos, they need to have repository of 1000s of sound effects, memes, and clips from general media. There really needs to be a tool to find gifs, images, videos and audios by typing general word and it even should match synonym tags.
I'd really would like to know how do you go from video idea to a finished video, especially audio part. I tried making tutorials and just ended mumbling 70% correct facts and rest wasn't actually correct.
the UI is just so nice, it's functional and simple. it's not trying win design awards to point of bein completely insufferable like some sites i see today.
then after 8 rounds they say you experience isn't enough for this sr/tech/lead role why not come for this role below that. But experience part was actually most clear from the start, it said right in the resume how much exp I had.
but companies would rather do agile/scrum/sprints and have product manager, scrum master, and more. Oh also 3000 micro-services because gooflix. Ok.. goodluck.
this is patent trolling, stuff getting patented is control volume on speakers, swipe on mobile app, double tap to open something... completely obvious non-sense.
but that's the thing, my new understanding may make me miss out on certain things... example: i go back and tell myself, work hard and learn programming. I go 200% on it, but then when i do it i realize i feel i missed out on life becuz i listened to my future self. Future self doesn't have perfect memory and dont really knew what my past was feeling and had perspective.
If I buy something from Google Play Store, then I'm legally entitled to it, and if Google refuses to give it to me I can make them refund the money or give me the digital asset I own via legal system. NFT has no such requirement and NFT NEEDs legal system then written paper with two parties signature is just as valid.
people often say what advice would you give to yourself or if you travelled back in time what would you tell yourself, and really there is no profound wisdom to depart. Everything I have done is based on my current understanding which is not really complete. Like looking back I may regret I wish I'd have done xyz more, but then if I actually had been doing that I would be regretting something new.
except those files/data has to be stored somewhere, and if server decides you don't own it, then regardless of how many NFTs you own for that data it is gone. Buying NFT is buying a referral to actual product, not even IOU.
i made similar choice, it came down to it, i just didn't feel like my simple dashboard should be 300 components or wanted to see ANY transpiling happening, you forget are delightful it's to save and see browser update <1s on different monitor.
