taskforcegemini··on I tried living on IPv6 for a day
>NAT (and no NAT is not a fucking security feature and is orthogonal to fucking firewalls..)

is this about the meaning of the term "NAT"? because of course it is a security feature if something is offline by default

>Maybe 10 out of 1000 websites will get closed

this may be true for the time being (or not), but will sure change if/when more [websites] become aware of what is going on. The result will be 10 out of 1000 websites will remain open, and not the ones you actually want. The more pressure there is on the sites/servers, the more these will have to act to stay online to begin with.

taskforcegemini··on Convert Linux to Windows
why touch it? these are usually not directly connected to the internet. some possibly virtualized. "updating" to use wine on linux is a ton of work on its own, you will run into unforseeable issues. nobody wants to pay for that and nobody wants to be responsible for the problems when the net benefit is zero. but a real update/replacement of all these systems is too expensive, hence the status quo.
taskforcegemini··on Most promoted and blocked domains on Kagi
I'm not sure about numbered, all I see is great arguments to try it and thus pay for it.
taskforcegemini··on Bigscreen Beyond 2
I tried this with rokid max: it was not usable for me, as it was too blurry. likely reason was my IPD (I think 71). You may read that this device can adjust IPD, but it's a software solution, not hardware. since I had no compatible mobile device (no current enough android version), I could not even test this.
