I wasn't able to figure out how much I owe for taxes and I spent more than 10 minutes on the bitcointaxes.info. It looks more like an accounting software to me. A lot of tabular data and accounting lingo I don't understand.

Is it a FIFO queue?

I will never use this. You know why? Because my work at big big enterprise would be too transparent and everybody would know that I don't add value to meetings. On live meeting I just talk myself out of everything and that's it. We don't want decisions to be made on meetings.

I alpha tested the product and I love it.

It's good for it to have a memorable name because it kicks ass and has some killer candies. It shows how simple the cloud computing on mobiles should really be.

I'm looking forward to use Fukime Candies, regardless of their name.

http://popify.me for creating coupons for websites and social networks. It's also a great tool for measuring users curiosity. We have some more in the oven, but focusing mostly on the main thingg.

I see this is a question of group culture. We learn by looking around and imitating. We all acknowledge this behavior when advising startups to ship products and learn on the way. This group is no different; the main difference is, that it grows too fast to learn from old members and reading a guideline can be compared to reading a book about startups versus doing it. Here are my suggestions I hope they will be helpful:

for all new users and all existing users with karma<100

* on create account page give link to Guidelines to read and before signing up give us a quiz with 20 questions to assess our understanding of the most important ones. This would also give us a clear message that attitude and quality is very important on HN.

for all users

* rename "comments" to "thoughts" and add "chat" link to convore/wompt for a relaxed discussion. From "chats" users can deduct quality material to "thougts" for history value.

for users with karma<100

* include explanations on down-votes so we can understand our mistakes an learn from them. Give us a chance to become better rather then killing us and wait for us to reappear as yet another troll.

* make submit button on "thoughts" to countdown 10 seconds (with bail-out option) to give us time to rethink if the post is really useful

And guess what. I had this post already prepared and I didn't have a sad version of it. It's 3AM here but we'll not be sleeping today 4 sure :)

We are. mmatcher.com & odpiralnicasi.com

That's the story of mass online media. Today I spent like 2hours preparing a blog post and it spiraled from new page in 15 minutes. id=2421007 It's the way life works. New things come, old die. It's the same story with internet technologies, not the best ones survive.

This is a little back favor to the community of HN which helped a lot with feedback yesterday. Thank you all for helping, this post describes our experience with testing the Popify site.

If you make an easy translation page for all the ingredients this would definitely be a bulls eye !!! Great app.

I knew it :) Thx for being sincere.

Until you put it on eBay/market, you'll never know :) but I think $78 is pretty viable if you put yourself in pants of somebody that has to test/launch something

I don't think so, because this can be done over a cup of coffee. Everybody is in the Bay Area anyways :)
