supergoogler

yeah you are right, but like you said OruxMaps is a different beast. For example It can handle large mbtile file of hundreds of gigabytes easily. The power of Organic map is in its open source nature. thank you

I have 12 years of experience in software development, touched many stacks from desktop, mobile to web apps. Being jack of all trades for many years with solid knowledge on data structure and algorithms helped me to debug out of any obstacles on my way. I am problem solver and driven by this modified Google motto "python where i can, others where i must". I have prior domain knowledge in med-tech, GIS and human resources.

HTTPie GUI, simple and elegant, api testing

I would like add my experience to this, a month ago I pick metabase as the default data visualization tool for the company I work for, we have to do pin map for some data to visualize but we are behind firewall, internet access is not allowed and is not on the options. we come up with offline map, we downloaded osm mbtiles files and we use tile server to serve the tiles. like others mentioned the whole process was really fun and rewarding. I have touched many stacks and used many software to do the work. Motivated by that I am also implementing a complete offline map of large selected area with satellite images and 3d view. If anyone interested happy to help.

thank you, that was just my 2 cents

As other mentioned networking is very important I recently open up and the result is beyond my expectation i was working alone for years, but now i am a technical team leader on big company all this happen was because of networking, to your surprise i am a self-thought developer and the only one without cs degree within an elite programmers who are graduated from top university with high GPA, i get out of my comfort zone it was hard but i did it and the reward was big. About learning new things, i think focusing on the core things is very important and this won't take much of your time, i am not against catching up with new tools, libraries and technologies, there are the lot of people who are good at a certain specific tool but I feel there are few guru programmer who can debug out of any obstacles. The latter is more important and the focus should be on how to become one of them.
